laker119
Hope the fellas don’t make this a “trap game”. Coming off a big ABC and with Bona on Friday night, need to take care of business.

billikenfan05
I am confident in this team tonight, but man do I hate conference road games. Always have, always will. POW.
billiken_roy
i had not given the ball used a second thought until it was brought to our attention that each team has the ability to use whatever ball they want for their home games. i was very surprised by this. one would think the league would have an official ball that has to be used. or maybe even the ncaa dictate for the entire D1. i really think this is weird that it is so varied and i could see how it makes a difference. good for the billikens to switch to the lasalle addias ball in practice since the dayton game. at least they will have some sort of familiarity with that different ball. for a shooter, i bet it indeed makes a difference. It's interesting, for sure, but I don't think it is as big of a deal as it seems. These guys have been playing their entire life, constantly switching from different balls. Practicing with the upcoming game ball should be enough to "level the playing field". Go Bills!

brianstl
If anyone is looking to get themselves fired up for the game. This highlight package from the Dayton game is pretty well done. NH, CBFan and Dr Bird like this

A10Ref
At LaSalle is always tough. Let's put the hammer down early. My wish list entails TJ, Nesbitt, and Okoro monster slams.
A10Ref
^^ awesome that high-flying plays is an expectation. Surely not a historic standard for Billiken basketball.

Yet, the former Dookie gave no reason as to why. I think they are a media draw for the ratings - and that's about it.

I don’t see a big pay day for the ncaa to standardize one brand of ball to use. Therefore they probably have no interest in doing so. NCAA = the biggest, toothless dog on the block. CBFan
Take care of business tonight walk in and play like it’s Dayton no matter what the opponent is. The defense in the Dayton game was as good as I have seen all season and that lock down defense must be a standard for the remainder of the season for all opponents. This team has worked hard to be in position to win the conference. Take command of this game, play hard for a full 40 minutes and blow these guys out. I never knew each home team chose the ball. Agree that you would think the conference would dictate the ball to be used. I could see where it could cause problem for shooters and ball handlers.
