And candidly, why wouldn’t they? That information would seem vital to the decision making process before severing ties with your current school. Quote

HoosierPal Posted March 11 Posted March 11 If you don’t subscribe to Stu on SLU you are missing an interesting piece on NIL. He has a lengthy quote from Coach Schertz on decisions players are making and when they are making those decisions. He says it is now a two way street, with both the player and school making decisions on who stays and who goes. billikenbill 1 Quote

cgeldmacher Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I'd love to be able to outbid everyone for Bennett Stirtz at Drake, but I have a feeling his price is going to be high. Quote

Would’ve been cheaper to just hire McCollum last offseason. Got a whole tournament team to come along with him. Basically what we were told was going to happen here, except it actually did for them. Would SLU possibly have moved up to Drake territory had Thames remained healthy? CJS & team deserve credit for the turnaround since the Grand Canyon game. billikenbill, thunderdan, CenHudDude and 2 others 5 Quote

It's not like we're talking about the impact of losing a player like Javonte Perkins. Quote

He averaged 14 against our two WCC opponents. He was on track to be a double figure scorer. I think his presence gives us an extra 3 wins. We've lost a lot of close games. ACE Posted March 11 Author Posted March 11 If he means a jump of 50 spots in the rankings then I stand corrected, but I simply don't believe that. gobillsgo 1 Quote

(notice i didnt say a word about degrees and education. the likes of jimerson or fred thatch are all but nothing anymore now. its a 4-5 year career now.) Quote
Taj79 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I don't know how you correlate McCollum and Drake with him and us. I think we can all just about agree that the athletes in the A10 are much more superior to that in the Mo Valley. Robbie and Isaiah found out as did Schertz. I'll admit I don't know much about the Valley but to just believe McCollum and company do the same thing here as at Drake seems a little far-fetched. Of course, we'll never know. Now that someone said McCollum to Iowa, I have also heard McCollum to Indiana. Love those rumors. Quote

But he is to McCollum as Robbie is to Schertz. Brought him with him from d2, I don’t think he’s gonna leave coach. Quote

They beat a pretty good Bradley team twice and Belmont twice. Our schedule is clearly better but not way better. Quote
