thunderdan
Best of luck, young man. I can totally see a G-League team picking him up. The G-League did wonders for Goodwin’s game. JMM28 likes this

wgstl
Just now, dennis_w said: Does signing with an agent bar him from coming back to college? depending on the type of agent. 2 types of agents, one type works with NCAA and if you hire that agent you can return. Yuri will forgo his last year on eligibility per Travis Branham
thunderdan
3 minutes ago, dennis_w said: Does signing with an agent bar him from coming back to college? I found this, on ncaa.com: “After an NCAA player fills out the application for feedback from the NBA, he can begin working with an NCAA-certified agent. If a player chooses to sign with an agent not certified by the NCAA, he forfeits his college eligibility.”

johnbj14
Yuri said in this article he won’t use his final year. He can sign with a certified agent and return, but he won’t be coming back.

With his height and lack of quickness and outside shooting ability, he is not going to get a snuff from the NBA. Good luck going foreign Yuri. If he had a better hold on English grammar and speech he could have probably made more on NIL $$ than what he will get as a pro on a foreign team. This ain’t it. stmdragons, johnbj14, Zink and 12 others like this
Duff Man
Yuri needs to work on the outside shooting but after seeing Goodwin's improvement post SLU, I see no reason why Yuri can't do it too if he puts in the work. gobillsgo likes this

slu72
Good luck, Yurimania, you certainly gave us many special memories. You’re no longer unknown. Good luck also for the Cousy award.
ACE
Good luck to Yuri. A tremendous SLU career. The hostility towards him among some in the fanbase is bizarre. His success only helps the program. After four years, it's time to take his shot. He'll make pretty good money playing ball whether it is in the NBA or not. While I wouldn't bet on him making it, it's also not the craziest notion. Considering that former Duquesne pass-first PG TJ McConnell has carved out an NBA career for many years now, it wouldn't be shocking to me if Yuri eventually made it. gabriel and Crewsorlose like this
cgeldmacher
I remember watching his recruitment video and thinking "We need to get this guy." Now, I'm hoping to watch videos of him in the NBA and be able to say "We had that guy." Good luck with everything, Yuri. MusicCityBilliken
I believe Yuri signed with Octagon last year. It's a large agency that represents a lot of professional athletes. JMM28 likes this

Soderball
Yuri's not an NBA player. he's "short"(by professional basketball standards) and his shot is poor. He's going to need to shoot 40+% from the three-point line to play in The League. I don't want him back because this program needs to move on to a new identity. We never made the tournament with him. He was still a skilled player and stuck by his home town to play basketball. Mixed reviews in the end. billiken_roy and BigMouthBilliken like this
