thetorch Posted June 1 Posted June 1 The Jacksonville MTE was poorly run and financing fell apart along with the some of the higher level teams trying to self determine more favorable matchups. Hearing we may be scheduling a game or two against the BCS teams that were supposed to he in this event as regular non con games. Quote

Return game at Chaifetz the following season. -SLU will face Wichita State in Kansas City on Friday, November 22 as part of a doubleheader with Iowa and Utah State. -Jackson State will come to Chaifetz this season as a buy game. Date TBA. -SLU is looking for opponents for a possible MTE at home this season. Quote

I remember that we hosted one that included Alabama and Air Force in the Romar era and then I vaguely remember we had one that included Northwestern in the Grawer era during a massive ice storm.
