Nice. Fordham isn't very good but they do seem to play better at home. They took 2 of 3 from Richmond and also just won a series at UMass. We need to win this series to stay in first place overall.

Good news: Billikens complete the sweep of Davidson, pitch very well allowing just three runs over the past two days. Bad news: Starting catcher Knox Preston left the game with an injury Sunday and starting shortstop Austin Nueweg, who has been a defensive anchor and show occasional pop with the bat was helped off the field with a leg injury after being thrown out stealing. Hopefully both will be able to be back soon because both would be big losses defensively, the area SLU has been SO MUCH IMPROVED from last year. No midweek game this week. They head to Fordham this weekend and then GW the following weekend. Next home game is in May.

Funny that SLU and the Cardinals both blew 6-0 leads yesterday and came back to win.

Yeah. Really like it here. I was JaxBilliken on here from 2000-2009, then got transferred to OKC against my will and changed my moniker. Made it back to Florida in 2014 but just too lazy to change my screen name. It’s amazing how long this board and its predecessor have been around.

Baylor has had some atrocious scandals. Dave Bliss should really be in jail. I have family who lives in Waco. From what I have heard from them, it’s very nice and family friendly. It’s the home of the Chip & Joanna Gaines empire from HGTV. I read terrible things all the time about my hometown St. Louis and my current home Jacksonville, but I find both to be pretty cool places to live.

Big bounce back win today. Huge home series this weekend.

I will be wearing my 2023 March Madness shirt today that I acquired after driving 8 hours to Knoxville on a Saturday morning last year to see our first NCAA Tournament game.

Looks like a frigid weekend in Philly for the Bills taking on St. Joe's. According to their website today and Sundays games will be on ESPN+. SJU apparently is another A10 facility that doesn't have lights so day games only. I love that almost every college when describing their own substandard home fields use terms like "one of the premiere facilities in the area" and "state of the art"

Larry Bird used to have a restaurant/hotel right off the highway in Terre Haute. I ate at the restaurant a couple of times. It had some cool Celtics memorabilia. One of his less talented, weirder looking brothers was running the place. SLU hosted ISU in my college days and I think one of his other brothers Eddie was playing (not that well) for them.

I just got my wife to find a super low airline miles flight so I can see this damn game. Anyone who wont go to Edwardsville because it’s too far should turn in their Billiken fan card.

They better have it in a location that is easy to remove. It’s coming back home in 5 months.

Walk off win over SIU-E yesterday. DH gave playing time to several bench players and got away with it. SLU scored a run in the 9th to tie after blowing a lead and, of course Clohisy provided the walk-off hit in the 10th. He even got Hayden Moore to make an appearance as a pinch runner. Next up at St. Joe's this weekend
