  1. That’s the other way to get coaches off of the court. Imagine a Bonner type throwing one punch at an opposing head coach, they’d no doubt stay off of the court going forward seeing a peer wheeled off on a stretcher. It’s just so bizarre to see, almost like another defender at times. In general, head coaches are allowed to act like complete maniacs and I will never understand how it is just accepted.

  9. So tired of the negativity. If we just hit our averages and held VCU below their averages we would have won this game. EZ in foul trouble all game, Parker stilll working it back. Glad that EZ got some extended rest this game. It's going to help him work himself back into shape. This doesn't change anything for me. We are still trending up and should be a B+ team by the time the A10 tournament rolls around. Another good thing in blowouts Rammer gets the opportunity to fill airtime to pump up Humphrey's!!! Spend all your pregame and postgame time at Humphrey's!!! Owned by Billikens Coach Travis Ford!!! Great Effort boys!!! Go Bills!!!!

  10. I don’t see this as that outrageous. It appears the judge found that the school didn’t follow their own rules for these kind of situations.

  11. Otis is feeling good about this game. Just don't start the game down like the couple. Those comebacks are tiring. He's got a few bucks down that SLU beats the betting line.

  12. The video is very strange. It was like he was running to close out on the shooter where the still shot is taken and then threw his arms up quickly trying to back away once he realized the Dayton player had the ball (like oh crap, I messed up). Stay off the damn court.

  18. Fire Travis Ford. He is an overpaid rodeo clown on the sidelines. Tonight had no effort even. Usually these guys play hard, the second half they did not even try. Throw in the towel. Fire Ford.

  19. No one is berating the players. Posters are saying the team lacks leadership and development from the highest paid coach in the A10. This isn’t some charity, college basketball is a big business. And ours is failing miserably.

  21. Really disgraceful evening. Don’t think this can be spun any other way. What would a potential recruit think if they saw this on television? This feels like the SIU game. I’ve never really wanted a season to end like I want this one to.

  24. I'm sure we'll hear about some guys who are suddenly battling injuries. And it'll probably be guys who were still on the court with 2 mins left in a 24 point game

  25. Does ford even practice defense? And he's completely back to stand around one guy dribbles in circles and before shot clock runs out someone throws up a shot with no rebounders. Can't defend him. He needs to go. Pathetic showing

  28. I agree. This is no fault of Ford's. Our guys just can't play defense. Not surprising that the players Ford brought into play aren't able to play the defense he designed with them in mind. Once Ford brings in new players and devises a defensive system fit to their strengths we will be back to being a top 75 defense like we have been for 30 + years.

  32. Every team in America has injuries throughout the year. If you have depth it minimizes the impact. Using that excuse is an indictment on roster management and development.

  37. You shouldn't build it and talk up how much it is going to help all your athletes if you don't already have the funding in place. Chris May was the one out there talking about how all of the Champions Facilities were to benefit all of SLU's athletes. I would not have a big problem with this if the message from those at SLU the whole time wasn't different than the actual reality. May was saying these things even on the day the facility opened.

  40. 91-61 loss for SLU, GM 51% for the game. @Pistol’s lookalike, Associate Coach Jimmy Colloton, had no magic answers to bring them back. 21 TO’s by the Billikens, several of them on bad passes. Coach Tillet not so respectfully disagreed with the refereeing of the game. Oh well.

  43. If a coach "bolts" that means he was successful -- what is this attitude? VCU has had "bolt"ing coaches forever and they are way more successful than us. You don't think Ford would leap and sprint at the opportunity for a P5+1 job? Lol. Ford is here because noone wants him. The very problem is that we have a coach that can't bolt - because he's not good enough.
