Wow. This is interesting.

Nesbitt showed up at Memphis midseason and barely played. The Memphis roster is oversubscribed so a few guys had to go no matter what. I wondered whether he'd be one but thought he might stick it out another year. He wasn't injured or otherwise eligible for a redshirt, but he'll still have four seasons of eligibility after appearing in 3 games for them.

Played 12 minutes, scored 3 points and grabbed 3 boards.  That's his stat line.

I think so. There are a lot of intriguing guard options out there who can score and do different things than Williams or Collins or Perkins, but none with his combination of size and skill.

There's nothing to be gleaned from that. When he showed up on campus, Penny told the press he hadn't been counting on him this year and wasn't sure whether he'd play much, but said it benefitted everyone to get him there, taking classes, and practicing with the team. Nesbitt was a 4-star top-60 recruit. He's the only 2021 player SLU went all in on.

Nesbitt is kind of the perfect fit from a basketball standpoint. I hate that I’m now getting my hopes up for this again.

If that is the case, then we are morons. He was easily the best player to choose from. We will see what kind of geniuses we having making calls here.

I forget we have new posters. When someone commits somewhere else, someone says " that's because we quit recruiting him"  Someone else will call him a tool. It's like Salinas and paystubs

Obviously if you're not coming to SLU you're a tool and it's only because we quit recruiting you.

So those that saw Jordan play in HS give this FL fan the scoop on his game and who you would compare him too?

Awesome all around player.  Good enough handles to be a 6'6 pg, good enough underneath to play the 4 in the A10.  He's similar to Goodwin, especially his motor.  Doesn't rebound as well but is still great.  Shoots and scores better than Goodwin.  He is a potential early NBA entrant, he was underranked in his class, more top 30 than top 60.
