Hopefully he makes it back to 100%. Back issues are tricky. Mary Baldwin has only admitted male students since 2017 so they're not exactly a powerhouse, even at the D-III level. Although they are 3-4, which isn't bad for a new program. Fighting Squirrels is a top-tier nickname. -indeed

I went to a game in the "Super Pit" a couple of years ago, UNT's home court. If they were going for the dark, dank, empty, depressing vibe, they accomplished it. Tim Dalger was definitely a better pickup. But hey, Noland does have more assists so shout out to him.

SLU's RPI is 114. In advance, I know the NCAA uses the NET, and no longer uses the RPI as its College Basketball metric, although the RPI is still used in other sports, such as Soccer. But the old metric does show how badly the NET is skewed by 1 isolated outlier. North Texas' RPI is 242. CenHudDude likes this

It takes into account game results, strength of schedule, game location, scoring margin, net offensive and defensive efficiency, and the quality of wins and losses." It's more than just the SIUC game in play here.

They don't directly use scoring margin, but they use net offensive & defensive efficiency which are heavily influenced by the scoring margin. Regardless, the SIUC game is a massive anchor dragging our NET down because we got our asses handed to us (Wichita State and Vermont were also bad, but not as bad). billikenbill
Good article here about Lassina Traore’s journey to Long Beach where he connected with fellow countryman, Aboubacar Traore. They’re not related although both are from Ivory Coast. Last night versus Fullerton State they combined for 39 pts and 39 boards in an 81-71 win. Lassina had 20 and 17. The Beach is 9-4 on the year. https://www.presstelegram.com/2022/12/28/long-beach-states-traores-reunite-in-unexpected-basketball-journey/amp/

gobillsgo
Gonna suck talking about Curcic in this thread the next three years. Guy has looked like a player every time he’s seen the floor, yet inexplicably cannot get any minutes on our apparently stacked roster.
