UCBC is so far from SIUE though, relatively speaking. It makes less sense. We gotta change that if we can.

UCBC on Washington is my pregame standard.  Never crazy busy like Fieldhouse.  Strange that you can count the Bills Fans there on one hand pregame......

What AB partnerships?

I am not aware of any specific agreements.  I just see the Busch Student Center and AB Auditorium and AB Institute (or whatever that medical building is officially named) and it seems SLU has potentially along the way promised that AB is their beer of choice.  Again...I have zero knowledge of anything specific (I just couldn't see any other obvious reasons that Urban Chestnut would partner with SIUE over SLU).

The stats are not very inspiring and there aren't a lot of highlights because he didn't play much, but after looking at this, you can see how he could fit in Schertz system. He has a nice stroke and quick release from 3. You can't really tell much else. Schertz definitely has a system and types of players who can fit. Coach is going to be in the honeymoon phase for quite a while, so there's no reason not be optimistic.

One more to go. It seems like we're set with bigs now, so probably a roll of the dice with the last scholarship for another lead guard or wing. My guess would be a high school kid.

This article says he started the season injured, out indefinitely.

https://www.noozhawk.com/three-veteran-guards-elevate-ucsbs-chances-in-mens-basketball/

Saw another article saying he had a back injury and underwent surgery in the off-season.  When you start the season injured, it is usually a tough road to get into the rotation and get minutes.

Where's the cute little graphic?

Looking at his twitterX, I guess it's no surprise he had an offer from ISU and Schertz a while ago.

Coming soon

Busch Center was built 55 years ago. Not sure about the other two  Maybe there are some partnerships but a lot of the bud dollars dried up when InBev took over

I agree but it seems it is not just a coincidence that we only see AB anywhere on campus run by anything SLU.

The Brasserie food may only be temporary. It would be great if it became permanent because it’s good food and I want to know where I can regularly get that chicken sandwich that they serve.

They probably have an agreement with Lohr Distributing. Lohr use to and maybe still does provide free beer to the Billiken golf tournament. You can get a craft beer at Chafetz .

The more I think about it the golf tournament beer might have come from Grey Eagle. Whoever gave it it was free.

Willie my memory of SLU and AB exclusive goes back to my days.   I recall many times having a beer at the Busch center and Busch on tap was the only beer they had.

I heard Auggie paid for the center with the proviso only Bud products could be sold. And In Bev does have a suite at the Fetz.

I would assume that since we are in bed with AB (I assume they have a number of different partnership and sponsorship agreements still) that precludes us from also partnering with Urban Chestnut.

They serve a lot of non-AB beer at the games including UCBC.

how about Kilian’s German Red Ale

I recall two beers at The Pub ---- the old bar in Buisch Center.  One was Busch.  The other was Budweiser.  I think pitchers of Busch went for a buck-and-a-quarter back in the end of the 70s.  Bud was another quarter or fifty cents more.  We didn't really care for Bud.

As far as his numbers, KB shows insignificant...ie sample size so small in all categories as you can not draw any conclusions as to how he will perform as a player. The computer did have 1 concern....Ast/TO was .36.   He had almost 3 times as many TOs as assts.  Based on a 40 min game, almost 4 TOs/gm. Not good.  Again the numbers are small so not a flashing red but a blinking yellow...ie something to work on...cutting down on TOs.

You can get Brasserie food at the Brasserie 4580 Laclede, it is always available there.

They don’t have the chicken sandwich at Brasserie by Niche on Laclede. That’s only available at the Brass Burger location currently at Urban Chestnut. Other than the burger which you can get at both places, nothing else from Brasserie is available at Urban Chestnut.
Source: Me. I had dinner at Brasserie last Tuesday and had the burger, and had dinner last Friday at Urban Chestnut, where I had the chicken sandwich.
