Any hints if Schertz passed on Turnbull (or didn’t prioritize super high) or if he passed on us. I thought he woulda been a good fit. Maybe this means the incoming freshman big will play a bit.

Right now, the hope is that Thames can become the next Conwell. He certainly has the tools, but we will see if Schertz can unlock his potential. Of course, the dream is we find another Conwell in the portal.

More than any other person (coach or otherwise), Grawer saved our program. He also had a great basketball camp for kids.

He was a good voice and the right person at the right time. It cannot be easy following after Biondi. I have plenty of things I could list that were not handled as well as I would have liked, but overall the University has continued to grow and establish a strong foundation. Here is hoping his replacement can take his work and really accelerate the growth of the school.

In the B10 there is a strong academic component and the conference gets a lot of government research dollars (Nebraska is an outlier). I would think that would be something making Georgia Tech, Va Tech, Duke, and UNC with NC State as potentially the favorites in my mind for the Big10. Pitt and WF too potentially....just depends on how many teams B10 will take on.

Dayton at one point down 17. They started slow and it’s fair to wonder if doing Senior Night before the game was the primary cause. Either way, I guess it worked out for them.
