If that was JB then I was wrong and that would be very encouraging Just watched again to make sure and it was definitely him. Decent stroke from the FT line too. Obviously, I don't expect him to be an outside threat, but given how much he'll be banging inside, I'm hopeful his FT% is decent-to-good. bauman 1 Quote

Of course, D-1 is a whole new animal, but based on these clips and Coach’s comments, I think we can expect Jimerson to be more than just a spot up 3 point specialist. The highlight video of Bell in the article was good to see. Showed a little more athleticism then I had seen in other clips (and also sank a few 3’s). Yeah, I meant when they get to the major college level. We will see whether Jimerson is able to demonstrate a complete game early in his career. It sounds like he certainly has that in him, so I am not doubting he will ever get there, just how soon he will be capable of doing so at this level. Something to watch. Quote

I have no idea whether this applies to Jimmmerson as well since I have never seen him play, but something to think about. As Pistol knows, finding Jimerson's stats on line is a challenge. I did find his 2018 summer Boo Williams stats. In 18 games, he only shot 7 FT, making 6. 40 of 87 from the arc though is nice. So yeah, I wouldn't count on Jimerson getting anywhere close to 100 trips to the line. https://www.d1circuit.com/roster_players/24347467 Quote

Bills_06 Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 I didn't want to start a new thread but article in the Athletic today about Ford building a hometown roster starting with getting Goodwin. Nothing ground breaking in it but that is three stories in two days from three different writers. Like to see it! Link Quote

bauman Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 I just finished reading an article in The Athletic and it had an interesting comment about Roy Williams (UNC) and his preferences regarding roster construction. It said he wants 3 PGs on his teams. It made me think that we might very well be where one of the all-time leading winners wants to be, with JG, YC and either TW or DJ Quote
