Agreed. As far as I was told, they are going with white, blue and gray this year. They did get rid of the hideous grays from last year. Not sure if the new grays will also have the Billiken logo. but my guess is the gray will be the same template.

I didn’t hate the greys. I really loved the look of the black jerseys, but also think I subconsciously associate them with the failures of the Ford era.  Guess it’s not the end of the world if they’re out.

I liked the Bess, Goodwin, French era grays. But whoever added the white and blue stripes down the side for the Collins, Hargrove era shouldn't be allowed to design anything ever again. I also really liked the black jerseys, especially when we were beating Virginia Tech in NYC. 😂

All in the billiken world should only be Royal Blue and white.   The other colors imo show you aren't diehard billikens.   This goes for team uniforms, fan wear, everything.

Sorry if this was already posted, and not exactly sure how reputable “Blue Ribbon” is, but pretty cool recognition for Robbie to be recognized as a preseason third team all American.

Kalkbrenner All-American?

I associate gobillsgo postgame analysis with the Ford era, some priceless posts!

From listening to some of the most recent Blue Ribbon podcasts, I’m guessing they’re very reputable. Can’t wait to buy the book to see for myself.

Apparently (or obviously) I did not follow his exploits between not being a Billiken and the present time.

We aren't the only ones who think he is a tool. STL media ignores local boy who is a national star

Does anyone remember and have a picture of the early 80's uniforms? I belive Lee Winfield designed them. They had the Arch(?) and the script writing with Billiken heads (I belive) dotting the i's. And Kangaroo shoes. Bring those as a throwback.

Even Tate doesn't have the style of Lee Winfield.

Either way....I would be ecstatic if these jerseys )complete with shoes) returned.

Love it. Maybe it was the sweats that had the STL skyline. Or am I imagining that as part of the uni? Thanks for posting this piece of Billiken history.

No prob.  My wife thinks I should open a museum with all of my Billiken relics.   Probably wouldn’t get a lot of foot traffic here in northeastern Florida.

Lot of St. Louis on that list.  Of the twenty kids mentioned we have one Billiken and two kids from St. Louis.

Nice plan, I remember my freshman year attending midnight madness and I think it was broadcast on ESPN.  Long term strategy to get students engaged and they continue to support the university for years. Plus we need to generate excitement and buzz which helps feed NIL, which helps get players, which helps get wins, which helps get NCAA appearance credits and repeat. That's called building a sustainable model for success.

Agreed. I really like this happening Homecoming/Parents weekend. Should at lest double the attendance of students and hopefully brings in students who's parents are interested in seeing the team.

I really hope they put on a spectacle. They did a good job one of the first years Ford was here, I hope they look back to that one and say, how can we make this bigger and better.
