Old guy Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Glad to hear so many of ours are doing well. Let's hope the future also brings professional play for Dwaine and Jordair. Quote
thetorch Posted October 27, 2014 Author Posted October 27, 2014 What are Jordair and Dwayne up to? I gotta think they would have no problem finding a decent league if they want to. Mike, Dwayne, and Jordair all have agents. Some of the lower tier leagues have not started yet so they still have time. I believe Mike is in town working out. Quote
bonwich Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 I hope this link works. The Google translator for the Polfarmex Kutno team comes up with a great position for Kwamain. http://bit.ly/ZVh65R Edit: Is that team really based in Kutno? Talk about a jeden koń miasto. Roughly the size of Jeff City. Quote
SLUMS81 Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Not quite basketball related: a certain Erwin Claggett got a hole-in-one at Wolf Hollow. Ninth hole, 3-wood, 215 yards. Proves he can still make 'em from beyond the arc. Quote

Roughly the size of Jeff City. Taking a look at that league the largest Polish cities do not have teams, save for Wroclaw. Also most of the teams are in the North west and South. Not the most populated areas. There are smaller towns than Kutno represented in the league. Quote

SLU_Nick Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 What does "signed" mean at this point. How can you be "signed" before being drafted? Quote
ARon Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 What does "signed" mean at this point. How can you be "signed" before being drafted? He was not drafted and therefore became a free agent who can be signed by anyone. Quote
kwyjibo Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 What does "signed" mean at this point. How can you be "signed" before being drafted? He signed with the league in order to be eligible for the draft. That's the way they roll in the D-league. I am not sure if there are "extras" but I assume this means he will be drafted this weekend. EDIT: Answering my own question. last year 170 players signed and 113 players were drafted. It is possible to not be drafted after being signed to the league. Quote
kshoe Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 What does "signed" mean at this point. How can you be "signed" before being drafted? I suspect the NBDL doesn't want teams wasting draft picks on players that plan to play in Europe, etc. so they ask players to commit to playing in the NBDL before the draft occurs. Good luck to Mike. Box and Won Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 The only things that could possibly make that video better are: 1) Dominatrix cheerleaders 2) A dead-eyed shark interfering with the game 3) A fat, shirtless man performing a celebratory dance Quote
