Ian’s team features former college stars Patric Young and Nolan Smith along with former NBA player Carlos Arroyo. dabills Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 A student posted something along the lines of "hanging out with jordair before he leaves to play pro ball in europe". Does anybody know where it could be? Quote

thetorch Posted December 27, 2014 Author Posted December 27, 2014 Oh, please, let it be Jordan. Surprisingly Jordan has 2 basketball leagues and Americans do play in them. I believe it is a several rungs below where Jordair could compete. Quote
bonwich Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Jordan is an Asian country. So is Israel, but its teams play in Euroleagues. Go figure. Quote
Old guy Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Is there a separate basketball league in the Middle East? or in the Arab countries of North Africa? I believe Turkey and Israel consider themselves European rather than Asian, this may be cultural rather than geographic, so why not the same for Jordan? Quote

Arab and ME teams have their own leagues in each country and they also participate in an Arab champions league. Middle Eastern teams can also be in strictly Asian leagues that can comprise of teams from India, Iran Turkmenistan, etc etc. There is also a SE Asian league for the top teams from Thailand, Vietnam and such. The Arab teams do not play in the same European leagues that Turkey and Israel play in. Quote
slufan13 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Porter Moser's Loyola team is 11-2 and goes on the road to face Northern Iowa next. They've faced a very weak schedule (not as bad as us, but certainly not good) and they're probably at best the 3rd wheel in the MVC, but good to see Porter having some success. Chris Harriman is an assistant at Nebraska and they're really underachieving after last year's good run. The Big 10 isn't it's best this year though so I wouldn't count them completely out of a top 4 finish. Jim Whitesell is an assistant at St. John's. The Red Storm stand at 11-2 and are one of the bigger teams in a strong Big East. He was brought in by Lavin as a RM disciple. Quote
jonny karate Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Is Jordair or d Evans playing anywhere? Quote

Christian Thomas from STL is having a really nice career there. Sounds like he found a great situation for himself. Quote
WVBilliken Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Willie Reed ought to get his chance in the NBA this year. Currently ranked as the #6 prospect in the NBA D League. http://dleague.nba.com/news/prospectwatch/ Quote
hsmith19 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Hasn't he been ranked in the top 5 or top 10 the last three years, though? Quote
slufan13 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Any updates on Evans or Jett? I always wondered if Evans might go to grad school and coach or something like that but I assumed Jett would play professionally. Really I figured both would play pro for at least some period of time. Just weird to not hear anything about their plans. I always enjoy kind of following former Billikens playing in the pros. Quote
crymdg2 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Nice article on Conklin. http://downtownball.net/2015/01/king-conk-lives/ Quote

ACE Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 As of today, Willie is the # 2 prospect in the D League. I just wish we could have gotten one more year out Willie. I remember when we signed Loe, Majerus talked about looking forward to RL and WR playing together. A frontline of WR, BC, CE, DE and RL - Wow. Quote
dabills Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 does anybody know anything about jordair? Quote
Littlebill Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Not sure. Saw the same tweet. He was at the VCU game though. Anyone know if he will play anywhere? Quote
kmbilliken Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Any word on Dwayne Evans plating anywhere? Quote
