rgbilliken Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Anyone know how to watch the NBADL all star game? Willie's gonna be in it. Go_Bills? Quote
West Pine Jim Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Brian has an improved jump shot and he takes no prisoners with his rim-rocking dunks. What a classy representative of SLU he is ! Quote
Westy03 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Any word on Dwayne Evans plating anywhere? He is still recovering from injury. Him and Jordair were really beat up after last season. Jordair had to have surgery Quote
DeSmetBilliken Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 To go along with Conklin's MVP, here's a highlight reel: http://bit.ly/ConklinMVP Quote

ARon Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Brian Conklin has apparently signed with Cangrejeros de Santurce on the Puerto Rican National Superior Basketball league. He seems to be following in Kevin Lisch's footsteps. First conquering Oceania and then heading to Puerto Rico before advancing to Europe. Quote

Like how baseball players play in the Dominican winter league. Quote
Billboy1 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Keep BC in mind for a SLU coaching gig in the future Quote

Bills By 40 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 I'm still scratching my head why Willie hasn't been given a real shot at an NBA gig. He puts up the numbers, that's for sure. Quote

hsmith19 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 If he was going to get a shot I think it would've happened by now. Wonder if he goes to Europe after this year. Quote

I'm thinking it's completely an attitude thing. The numbers and athleticism are definitely there. Maybe his motor, too; takes some plays off. If he had a Kenneth Faried mentality, he'd be a taller Kenneth Faried. Quote

Ah, what could have been if Willie wasn't such a knucklehead? Would've been fun to see a frontline of: WR, BC, RL, DE and CE. To go along with a backcourt of KM, MM and JJ. That's a roster loaded with size, depth and talent. Quote
WUH Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 SLU Men's Basketball @SaintLouisMBB 14m14 minutes ago Cory Remekun is now playing for Siroki Primorka in Bosnia. Played last fall in Greece. The Bosnian league is so small and Siroki Brijeg is very isolated, but at least is close to the Croatian coast. It looks like he is the only American on the team. It would be interesting to know how much he makes, but I would bet it is one of the lowest paying leagues in Europe. Quote
