NoCoBillsFan Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Our teams under Ford have always struggled defending the 3 ARon 1 Quote
slu72 Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 11 3s. They were 4-24 against Loyola. What are we doing wrong? Quote
laker119 Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 This hasn’t even been Green making the contested threes. This Berhow fella (#11) has a janky shot but is on fire Quote
ARon Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Some would say it can be more effective against the 3 to try and deny the shot even if it means you get blown by sometimes. Deny the shot and not just "get a hand up". We've let them attempt twice as many 3s as they have 2s!!!!!!! Quote

Franchise_08 Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 22 three point attempts 1st half…I don’t think I have ever seen that. Quote

SLU_Nick Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Our three point D consists of our guys staying low, leaving the shooters eye clear to hoop, then when they shoot our hand goes into their face. It’s so dumb. Quote
BillsBeliever!!! Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Somehow this team is top 75 in three point defense Quote

BillsBeliever!!! Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Our defense with Yuri is very different than without Yuri Quote

Matty Light Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Part of the problem is that our defenders stray off their man at the arc and towards the paint. Sometimes you just have to trust your post defenders to win 1 on 1 in the post. This frustrates me every game. Adman and MusicCityBilliken 2 Quote
Neighbor Dave Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 To be fair, 3-4 of those 3s are ones where you just gotta tip your cap. laker119 1 Quote
Dr Bird Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 And on the offensive side, our offense doesn't generate enough open 3s because we completely abandoned the inside-out pass since French Quote

If you see it, it tends to be a pass immediately after receiving it. How often do Linssen and Okoro catch, pivot, and find the open man at the arc? Quote
