I agree that most teams do not. The only team that comes to mind is Davidson as their system does not put a super heavy load on the PG. Does their offense really look different when Huffman rather than Loyer is in the game? For most other teams, yeah there is a significant drop off. Taj79
Dayton lost to Richmond because Smith went down at the final buzzer of the first half never to return. Dayton stretched their lead to about 14 and then Richmond, sensing (I guess) that Dayton had no real PG and true ballhandler, pressed. Richmond won going away. billikenbill
BYU smokes UNI 90-71. Hope our guys have “Conklin Summers”… oh, and that JP comes back.
Taj79
UNI went 11 of 27 from three for 41%. Against us 16 for 37 for 43%. So not much in terms of a major-major difference. Close enough in percentage but a 10 attempt drop in trys. I can only guess BYU got religion from us and covered the three point line. VCU lost 80 to 74 to Wake.. Dayton is a 3.5 point dog at Vandy today and the Bonnies are 5.5 point dog at Oklahoma. Dayton fans want a win and a Xavier win over Florida so Dayton can host them at the UD Arena next. Dayton can't play at home just yet due to Ohio High School playoffs in their arena.

Rodney Chatman is a Dayton transfer for Vandy who sat out almost all of the season with injury. (as did Liam Robbins) Neither are 100% but both will play and have been playing lately. VU would have been a much different with them, NCAA Tourney level team. So it will be an interesting game for Chatman.
Schasz
The player for Vandy who has impressed the most recently is Jordan Wright. He's made up for the poor performances of Pippin, Jr.
courtside
Wright is a good example of a later in the process, under the radar recruit that can do multiple things. He also was recently named SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year. Having Chatman even less than 100% gives them a good perimeter defender, and allows Pippen to play off of the ball more. Robbins gives them a rebounder and interior depth. Some will recall SLU's past game against him when he was witb Minnesota. They will once again be hosting a baseball game next door at the same time. This time it is vs Mizzou. But it should be a competitive NIT game if both teams come to play.

Bay Area Billiken
Bona is being sent on the road to Virginia in the NIT Quarterfinals Tuesday. This de facto 5 Seed (Bona) at 6 Seed (UVA) is the reason the NIT doesn’t list seeds below 4. The NIT (now owned by the NCAA) obviously prefers UVA host the game. billikenbill
Bonnies beat UVa 52-51. Lofton makes amends for his FT misses against us by hitting 2 with 5.3 to go, then Osun swats Kihei Clark’s drive into the stands at the buzzer.
