Footwork is fine, he's just a below average athlete.  But at that size no one's going to block his shot either.

I would not call that a below average athlete. Same size as J. Bell, but has the ability to drive from outside. If he shoots the three, then he could be an outstanding pickup. Certainly would be a compliment with the current bigs in the fold.

He's a big dude. Wonder why all his bids are from mids and some rather low mids. Our guys must see something knowing you can't teach 7'1".

Probably can not move his feet very well.  Bigs have that problem - slow to develop.

The biggest issue is that he's been in the U.S. for less than 2 months and has yet to play a game here.

Keanu Dawes is off the board to Rice. Had SLU interest but we didn't make his finalists.

Understandable It’s tough moving those size 16’s.

This is a new name to me. I'll have a bio up soon. I wouldn't expect to get a fall commitment with 1 (on paper) scholarship left from someone who kinda popped up out of the blue, but I've been wrong before.

-hopefully Gus has been put out to pasture but if not we have to get this one as it may lead to Gus to just walk away the first time EIU enters a game

Gus has never been one to let incorrect pronunciation get in the way of his ego.  Mistakes are only embarrassing if you actually give a sh**
