VeniceMenace
Hmmm...T-Ware dominates Belleville West... http://www.bnd.com/sports/high-school/article51965405.html And T-Ware gets rave reviews as the most underrated player in the state: “Last year Ware hurt you primarily by doing two things: shooting 3-pointers and crashing the offensive glass hard for putbacks. That was the essence of his game. But the weight loss has totally transformed his cage skills from good to SCARY good. I'm not talking just Division One good....I'm talking POWER SIX good...” http://secondregionsportszone.blogspot.com/2017/12/detorrian-ware-continues-to-be.html?m=1 Spring signing starts April 12, time for a verbal from T-Ware!!! Really poor video of him dunking over a 6'11" player earlier in the year is about the most recent thing I can find. I trust in Travis, even the unknowns. Still floored that Ford was as good as he was in college at his size. That kid is TOWERING over him at 6'4".
Littlebill
So Watson won MO POY. Can we talk about how wild him winning over Ramey is? Absolutely crazy.

Ramey was out for a lot of the season. There were some strong contenders, though: Hellems, Thatch, Gordon (his numbers suffered without Ramey, plus suspension), Lathon, Bishop, Shaun Williams, and others. But given the points Watson put up every night for Whitfield, I had a feeling it would go his way. If it were about overall potential, it would go to Ramey or Gordon. GMan Alum
Gordon had 21 pts., 17 boards and 3 blocks last night as Webster defeated CBC 93-79, to advance to the quarterfinals. Please, Cart'Are, please play nice off the court for the next few years.

Zink
https://youtu.be/T_QhrfQF0YU ^ Link to a YouTube stream of today’s Sikeston - St. Mary’s showdown (Fred Thatch vs Yuri Collins)... should start at 2:45pm Central. Hopefully it works, St. Mary’s has been pretty good at streaming their games somewhere, but this is the first one I’ve seen on YouTube. The stream for the Vashon game was rough (issues with the sound and a camera man that was frequently missing so you only got one half of the court), but their game before that was really quality. Both of these teams get after it and have a number of guys who can make shots (unlike Vashon who St. Mary's just completely shut down), so this should be a fun one (I saw Chaminade have some success pressuring Sikeston, so I would give St. Mary's the nod, but Thatch could be a wild card). No 2018 recruits (Kasubke could be a 2020 recruit), but Chaminade plays Hazelwood Central today at 2:45, here is the link for that: https://www.chaminade-stl.org/athletics/cspn And yes, to answer your question, I do not have a life (actually sitting in a cube procrastinating). Thanks for the Chaminade link! Any luck on the Webster Groves game tonight? I searched, but came up empty. Need something to distract me while grading... Yeah, St. Mary's had a size and athleticism advantage so Thatch played down low and more than held his own on the glass - their other guard (Jones?) basically just cherry-picked, running out on every shot and getting a lot of breakaway lay-ups off of outlet passes started by Thatch. Sikeston did a great job of preventing St. Mary's from setting up their excellent half-court defense.
