Goodwin has faced Morant before. In 2017, SLU beat Murray State 69-55.  Morant was held to 10 points that night on 4-12 shooting. Goodwin had a very rough shooting night, although I'm sure he played a hand in containing Morant. Jalen Johnson of all people had a double double, Hasahn French was just one rebound away from also getting a double double and Javon Bess led all scorers with 20.
