Speaking of Goodwin, he helped out with the Althoff basketball camp this morning and looked great according to my son. Threw down some dunks, ran some drills, etc. He said you would never guess that he recently had shoulder surgery. Good news! I too hope that he leads the team in scoring, but I think it will be Henriquez.

Unfortunately, it sounds like his injury is more serious. He's getting an MRI to learn the extent of the injury, but he may have a torn hamstring. Hopefully, he gets some good news. I was really looking forward to seeing him play this year.

Channel 5 just had a quick tease about "breaking news" saying that a defense attorney has said that four SLU basketball players may be involved in the SLU sexual assault case. I assume this will be a lead story on the 10 O'Clock news. So much for keeping the story quiet. I wonder if they will name names?

Bill Thomas left SLU because his fiancee found a great job opportunity in Chicago. He went to Chicago to follow her, not because of any ill will toward SLU. I know for a fact he enjoyed his time at SLU. He was actually Director of Ticket Sales at SLU for a number of years in the late 90's before going to the Rams in a similar position. He enjoyed his time so much at SLU that he came back to take the Assoc. AD position.
