Much needed win tonight by the Bills. Gibby could not throw it in the ocean early but got it going by driving to the hoop. There were a lot of contributors, and Thatch played an important part in the win. Seemed that we pushed out their shooters out from their sweet spot a lot in the 2nd half. Beat SIUE and then on to A-10.

We shut them down last 8 minutes or so.  Cut their points in the paint to zero.  Made them settle for jump shots.  But man can Jimerson cover anybody?  DeVries.  Sturtz.  Penn.  How does he get that lost?

I thought Gibson’s defense this season had been pretty solid until tonight. Going to give him the benefit of the doubt

Seeing how Drake scored at will for 36 minutes, I wonder if the pace of the game caused fatigue to set in. 

We seemed to play at a quick pace all game.

Drake shot 14% from 3 against Richmond. 38% tonight but was in the 40s most of the night. Made 3 vs Rich and 9 against SLU.

Surprisingly, our defense won that game.  Held them to 4 points over the last 5 minutes to give ourselves a chance. 
 

This team can defend when they want to, I’m not sure they always want to tho

SLU couldn’t guard Drake in the man to man. But the Zone worked, helped turn the tide.

Seemed like both Okora and forrester were out there for longer stretches tonight.  Not up and down on the bench every foul or bad play.  Seemed to help Okora get in the flow.
