ARon
Box and Won agrees with you. He'd also be fine with Manning in for AG. I also agree. Both Manning and Gillman will need to be spelled a lot so no real need to choose between the two.

Bizziken
This game made me a pro-Crawford convert. Liked what I saw from him on both ends of the floor. We actually ran a few plays specifically to free him up. What's scary is he could've gotten a ton more points had we been able to master the skip pass
doowop
No one should be surprised that Crawford is a good player. All he needs is more floor time. I believe he can play like he did tonight with consistency if given the minutes. There are a number of good players who can not create their own shot. Good coaches will draw up plays to get a good shooter open.

HoosierPal
Crews shortened his bench tonight. All 12 played, but token appearances for Reynolds (2 minutes), Agbeko (6 minutes) and Jolly (7 minutes).
slufan13
According to Durando, Crawford had a mystery weight loss early in the season that left him weak and now he's feeling better. Could explain his rough stretch when all reports coming from the summer were positive on him.

thetorch
Anyone notice Roby's antics during the game? I've noticed some of his theatrics before but tonight he was way over the top. At one point in the 2nd half we went to a timeout and he was subbed for. Team is huddled. Roby sits on the bench then stands there. Crews is in the huddle looking around then yells where is Davell? Roby joins the outside of the huddle but doesn't really make contact. Platt comes over and pulls him aside with Roby resisting. Platt talks to him, then he puts Cheaney on Roby. The rest of the team is going over the next play out of the timeout and we have two of our assts forced to deal with one player. Roby is frequently acting out on the court and usually standing off on his own. We've had a fairly straightforward bunch in years past and at least in games we haven't had anyone really act out since Liddell. How many Techs have we received this year? 3? I can't remember 3 technicals by players in the last 3 seasons. Maybe this is a product of having a young team.
billikenbill
Almost as bad has been watching him try to play offense. Unless he's bringing something to the defensive side that's not obvious, I can't see how he stays in the rotation much longer.

HoosierPal
He might be a NBA player but the majority of shots he had were wide open with no one contesting He was stepping back from the screen to get his shot. He shot before we could go over the screen. Actually he had two defenders in the same zip code. The kid is good. Ash, Roby and Crawford all took turns trying to guard him. I didn't have a clock on it, but it seemed like Crawford spent the most time trying to corral the Estonian. But you are right, his free throws were pretty much uncontested. We should have had the ref block a few. He shot the ball 20 times (9A FG and 11 FTA) and connected 16 times.
