St. Joseph is in next year's Players Era Festival in Vegas.  That's the tourney where each team gets $1 million NIL money and the winner gets an extra piece of the pie.  Gonzaga, Baylor, Michigan, Iowa State, St. John's and Syracuse have also been announced.

Why St. Joe?  One of the event organizers, Seth Berger, "grew up with Coach Lange". 

Look for St. Joe to be successful in the upcoming portal.

After trailing most of the game,  Dayton (A) comes from behind in the 4th quarter to beat Western Mich (F+ ) by 8 pts in a game they were favored to win by 24.5 pts.  I wonder if this every happens to other teams?  There is something familiar about that 8.

We’d all be willing to overlook the occasional “bad win” if we also had wins over UConn and Northwestern, with our only losses being to two ranked teams by a combined 7 points.

Almost every really good team has at least one “bad” win against a much worse team statistically every year, sometimes even a loss to that team. But your point is very well taken, we should be able to balance that with a win over a heavily favored opponent.

I guess we (C+) will just have to beat Dayton (A ) next month.  After all, if an F+ team almost beat them, then we surely have a good chance. That would balance things out.

Loyola also undefeated now with a home game against San Francisco next. They have a good chance to finish the nonconference schedule undefeated with 3 home games in a row before conference play begins.

Despite being undefeated, the two A10 teams are both approximately 30 spots behind the least of these other teams, UC Irvine, in Pomeroy.

Yes. Great for the A10. Don’t really care about Pomeroy today. Two A10 teams are undefeated 1/4 of the way through their schedule. That is great for the A10.

if you don’t think this qualifies as good, that’s your problem to figure out. Let those A10 fans feel good about this.
