As of this morning, 11/21, there are 8 undefeated teams in the A10.  On the downside of the league standings, Duquesne has yet to win.

Dayton plays North Carolina in Hawaii Monday. That would be a nice scalp to take.

Dayton's Enoch Cheeks, a 6-3 guard who averaged 8.1 ppg and 4.7 rpg last year is playing out of mind.  He's averaging 15.0 ppg and 8.3 rpg playing the same amount of minutes as last year.  And he's turned into a ball hawk, racking up 3.3 steals per game. I guess the Conklin summer has expanded to Ohio.

Here’s a question.   Why are we NEVER in legit holiday tourneys anymore.  All the other A10 teams are in nice locations getting a crack at power 5 teams and perhaps beating them.   We never go to these tournaments anymore.  And barely  ever did.   It’s a massive missed opportunity

Maui?  If so that’s amazing.  I don’t recall ever doing that one.  But yea how about next year?   Bahamas?  Myrtle beach?   At least Charleston? 
 

our league is going to be tough this year.   Joes Dayton and Loyola are all good.  And  VCU is still VCU.

As for A10 this year it maybe the best it’s been since 2013. I think it got 6 bids that year. We’re gonna have to be at full strength come January.

We were just in Hawaii (Big Island), and hadn't been there for about 20 years.  It's still a very nice place to vacation.  If SLU is playing in Hawaii next season, that will probably be in Honolulu, the big city on Oahu.

Be wary of these upcoming 8 team MTE's.  The P5 is already discussing tiered approaches to these tourney's where the P5 would play in a P5 bracket and the lessers in another bracket.  It might not happen next season, but by 2027, don't be surprised if we are slighted by the organizers.
