After watching peacock gold Olympic channel today since noon 

When else would we voluntarily watch fencing and badminton for extended time except during the Olympics?

True. Fell asleep during the Beach Volleyball match. Now, I’ve got look up the result.

KD putting on a show in his return. Didn’t start but 5-5 from the floor with 4 treys. USA up 8 mid 2nd quarter. Aside from KD, pretty average play so far. No Tatum sighting yet.

110-84 win. Too many turnovers but KD and Lebron were too much for Serbia to handle.

I’ve been watching a lot of fencing too.  My thoughts…if they remove the protective padding and give them swords instead of metal pointers it would be a lot cooler.

I tried watching archery, and the archers had all kinds of counterweights and aiming scopes attached to their bows. Take all that stuff off!  Legolas just needed a wood bow with a string, and he could outshoot anyone I saw in the Olympics.

Well......at least they don't allow compounds and cable releases.  Archery is freaking hard.  I use a 45lbs Bear (cub) stick bow from the 70s.  As a fairly strong grown ass man it's a total pain in the buttocks to hold that at full draw for any length of time, much less hit anything with it. Legolas was in a damned movie and invented surfing on a damn shield.......

They should be shooting apples off of people’s heads too.

He also spent way less time aiming.  But don’t forget he had many more years of experience.

Steph Curry would start at shooting guard for me.  What a show to secure the gold!!

Curry is incredible.  That heat check shot over the double team to ice the game was the most insane shot I've ever seen.  I've watched the clip like 50 times now.  France double teamed Curry 25 feet from the basket while leaving Kevin freaking Durant and LeBron freaking James wide open.  The guy on Booker was hedging down into the lane a bit to takeaway Curry's driving lane.  Their defense after doubling Curry was basically a triangle and two with both of the two on Steph.  It didn't matter because he is such a good shooter.
