Is this correct... A recruit in Missouri, who has signed with a school in that state , can get NIL deals , while still in high school, but only if they are 18??

Children or teens not yet of adult age, do not pay taxes they are dependents of their parents. However if they make an income of more than $14,000 during any  tax year they have to file their own tax returns. In Missouri these children/teens can be still reported as dependents by their parents even if they have to file their own tax returns. I never had to fille individual tax returns for my children, so I have no experience with filing tax returns for teenagers plus declaring them as dependent in my returns, therefore I am not familiar with the details involved.

This kid is the real deal according to everyone that has seen him.  Might be among the most underrated recruits in the country right now.

Jimerson clone, can create a little bit more, better handles.  Fastest release I've seen a HS player have.

Does anyone know if we are actively recruiting Walsh.  Seems like a great fit for Schertz's system.

Im pretty sure yes.  Would be a massive miss by the staff given his style and coaches system.

Not sure I can confidently say the same about Zyree Collins.

Pulling for a kid from Vianney might be tough for me hahahaha. But, if he is one of the athletes who was getting jerked off by the school nurse, I could probably come around.

Seems SLU would not want both Walsh and Zobrist ..... if so, I'd take the 6'5" guy.  But what do I know ....... LOL.  But if Schertz has only say 4 or 5 spots to fill this time around, then don't see a need for 2 players with the same skill set with somewhat limited ball handling skills.

ive seen walsh shoot a few times at the 360 facility in fenton.  all i know is that is one quick release with no range limit.  i think in what we have seen with schertz teams, he is a perfect fit.  if hes open he can make it.  i dont care where he is on the floor.

Id be shocked if this was a pick one scenario.  Im sure he would take both.

Long way to go, but I'd take either.  But 6'5" versus 6'2" .... I'd take the taller of the two if all else is about equal. And Zobrist appears to have a slightly higher level offer list at this point .... SLU, Loyola Chicago, Bradley, Illinois State, Indiana State, Miami-Ohio, etc.  But having seen neither  .... I put my trust in Schertz to take the right guy.

Walsh had nothing to do with this.

Rumors like this spreading around are another reason why he isn't getting recruited heavily.

Had a SLU offer:

SLU was never really in it. This was a Ford offer, anyway. Just closing the loop.

Looks like someone from SLU was there for his 43 point performance so there must be at least some interest there.
