thatskablamo
Bottom 3 rough on starter Charlie Weber. Running out of gas. Could be a staff day here in the Bronx. Screams “fuuuucccckkk” into his glove as the third out is made. after 3: Fordham is up 3-2.
thatskablamo
Rally in the 9th killed with two on and our 2B sticks his elbow out for what appears to be a HBP- ump calls a third strike. Ballgame. Fordham wins 8-4. An unacceptable Saturday loss. Weber looked lost out there on the mound.
OkieBilliken
Offense has ground to a halt. Still missing three starters and #1 pitcher with injuries. Eeked out a 3-1 win at Lindenwood last night. Very worried about our weekend series at GW. We are actually behind last year’s pace in conference. Last year at this time we were 9-3. We currently stand 8-4. Unless we can get some dudes back from injuries, this has the possibility of becoming a very disappointing season. I was counting on this year being the first SLU regional I was going to be able to travel to. DirtyRican likes this

The Lion's didn't throw anything special but made a few nice plays. There were a few scouts there that looking to be honed in on Clohisy and Gray. OkieBilliken
Okay this is getting F***ING ridiculous!!!! I was away for a couple of days and find out the yes, we took the series from GW, but @$#%##%@#$## our leading candidate for conference player of the year Pat Clohisy was hit by a pitch Saturday and removed from the game and didnt play Sunday. We are TOAST if he we are going to be missing him. This is BS! We have two Player of the Year type offensive weapons and both are out because of HPBs! @BillTheCat??? ANYONE??? close to the program have any updates??????

Preston got injured on Saturday but played Sunday. Moore and Neuweg are injured as well.
OkieBilliken
Soundly beating a Big East school is always good. But what's great is getting Hayden Moore (2 hits/1 rbi) and Tommy Ray (1 scoreless inning) back. After getting his 500th win as a SLU coach earlier this year, Coach Hendo is going to get his 1,000th career win this weekend! If there was any justice in the world SLU would build him a stadium, name it after him and put his freaking statue in front of it. Fuoking HATE Mason, literally the most useless a$$ athletics program. Two A10 Championships since they joined the conference. And it was in softball and baseball last year. https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/40058938/georgia-pitcher-suspected-cheating-vs-sec-foe-texas-am AGB91 likes this
billikenbill
Sitzman’s 2-run single in the 8th leads the Bills to a 5-2 victory over GM. 32-11 overall and 12-5 league puts them in 2nd place, a half-game behind Dayton. Win tomorrow, sweep the Flyers in 3 next week and things will be looking good. OkieBilliken likes this

These two teams play a 3-game series starting next Friday in Saint Louis. A-10 standings show Dayton at 13-4. They had a game with VCU cancelled which accounts for them having one less conference game than the Bills. On Saturday, I saw on the A-10 site Dayton with 13 wins so figured Sunday’s game was for the tie. Turns out the Dayton page shows them at 12-5 so the A-10 site is wrong. Brighton
Follow this site instead https://d1baseball.com/conference/atlantic-10-conference/ They’re the only baseball team in this metro area that’s worth a damn and have been for some time, and yet they can’t get any coverage from the local media. billikenbill likes this
billikenbill
Billikens hold off Lindenwood 9-4 following the heroics of light-hitting back up 1st baseman Chase Beattie. Beattie rocketed a three-run smash over the centerfield fence in the bottom of the 8th after Lindenwood, down 6-4 in the top of the frame, had runners on the corners with no out. Reliever Jack Weber ended the threat with 2 Ks and a groundout, allowing the Bills to retain their 2-run cushion. Beattie then ended all doubt about the outcome. Earlier, both Tyler Fogarty and Drew Winter homered for the Bills leading to a 3-0 margin after 3. The A-10 leaders have now won 6 straight and move to 34-11 on the year with a huge 3-game home weekend series with 2nd place Dayton on the horizon.
