Bay Area Billiken
Agreed, unreal. Things really seem to be unraveling over there, almost daily drama.
JMM28
Is Alden actually on the hot seat there? And if he is, would any coach really want to go there if the AD has a short shelf life which would lead to a new AD who would want to bring in their own guy?? brianstl
Haith told the players he is gone according to Strauss.

Bay Area Billiken
Tweet from Gary Parish @GaryParrishCBS "Done deal. Frank Haith, as expected, will be the next coach at Tulsa, a source told @CBSSports. Updated story coming." I also just received a similar ESPN Score Center update. Tweet from Jeff Goodman @GoodmanESPN "Missouri's Frank Haith has reached verbal agreement to become the head coach at Tulsa, source told ESPN. Haith is en route to Tulsa now." DD3
Tulsa?! Wow. That's not meant as an insult to Tulsa. But leaving a big-name school and the SEC for a 13-loss team in CUSA? Cue the "rat leaving sinking ship" metaphor.
NH
Wouldn't they be better off trying to poach a guy from a MAC or similar school? Instead of black Porter Moser? The hell? I know I'm the go-to Porter apologist on this board but I don't see any need or basis for this comment. First of all Porter has never been accused of anything by the NCAA, nor have his teams dealt with countless off-the-court issues. He's always been known as a stand up guy. He also did a lot for this program. Who do you think was the head recruiter on McCall, Jett and Evans? Majerus loved Porter, as did the players. If you don't think he's a great coach then fine but I see no reason to drag Porter through the mud. He was a vital cog in our return to an NCAA team and many close to the program would confirm that. NH
Early rumored targets: @JeffGoodman: Missouri targets: Mike White, Archie Miller, Craig Neal. My gut says that Miller won't have interest -- as was case with Marquette.

BillsCPA
Football is at an all time high, and the move to the SEC has been a huge success. Alden is fine. With that said I wish Haith would have stayed and continued to destroy their program.
billikenfan05
Tim Miles would be a good hire

JMM28
Tim Miles isn't going to Missouri. He has a better program at Nebraska. Missouri is going to shoot for the moon, but will soon realize they are a 2nd or 3rd tier program at best.
Cowboy
Tim Miles would be a good hire -I agree, hope it doesn't happen -I will miss the chaos

TRN
Tim Miles isn't going to Missouri. He has a better program at Nebraska. Missouri is going to shoot for the moon, but will soon realize they are a 2nd or 3rd tier program at best. Won't happen, Miles already turned down the inbreds in TN this week, no SEC for him. His team next fall will be top 25 and top 5 in the Big Ten. Why take a job at a dumpster fire with lesser facilities...
Duff Man
This is the most WTF?!? hire since Georgia Tech took Brian Gregory off Dayton's hands. this is a positive development for SLU, since the new Mizzou coach might actually be open to scheduling the Billikens the give Quin another chance thread on tigerboard made me chuckle

TRN
Hmmmm not to sure about that one. Have you seen his $20+ million practice facility or new arena, and a team that made the NCAA tourney with 4/5 starters returning?

dlarry
What a disaster for Ol'Mizzou. Sure it will probably be a good thing in the long run but IMO losing a coach to Tulsa if you are a BCS school just looks bad. Haith career is definitely going the wrong way. He went from Miami to Mizzou to Tulsa. It suppose to be the other way around. Whats Franks next stop D2 or High School?
majerus mojo
So Haith is bailing on MIZ for Tulsa because of rampant corruption and future NCAA sanctions, right? Otherwise uh....
