I’m stupid because I don’t know what you do in your free time?

Congrats on all your charitable contributions Roy. You’re a sure fire first ballot heaven candidate. Maybe you should take the youngsters out to watch a SLU baseball game? Oh that’s right the ones in the wheelchairs won’t be able to see the game.

First off you need to quit commenting on this.   You obviously have no clue about the world's greatest philanthropy.

Just so happens the Shriners had Shriners day at Busch Stadium just 3 weeks ago and a number of the current Shriner kids were in attendance.  We even arranged for them to be in the field and toss out a first ball.  But your condescending remark about the Shriner kids in wheel chairs was in pretty poor taste imo.

It's also a coincidence with your sarcastic heaven remark, next year when I am Potentate of the Ainad Shriners, our motto will be "Angels Among Us".

As to not knowing I was a Shriner, it's on my Billikens.com profile and I have mentioned it maybe four million times over the years it is my go-to charity.

Just stop.  You have no idea what you are talking about now on.  If you had an ounce of class, you'd be writing a check to Shriners Childrens Hospital right now

Roy, your personal life is of no interest of mine. Just as I wouldn’t expect you to be interested in mine.  I’m sorry that you’re upset.

You were the one accusing me showing no concern to the handicapped.

You should be sorry for your callous accusation.

That is not what I was accusing you of. What I was accusing you of is selective application of your concern and excusing a persons lack of concern because you think they’re your friend.

Then you should have just said that and not used my name and the handicapped comment.

You know who's not helping the differently abled?

Chris May.

He said, "F your charity event at my baseball field. PS F the March of Dimes and UNICEF too."*

Although he's weirdly supportive of Ronald McDonald House.

*Probably

Hey I just figured out how to ignore someone's posts.  Haven't had to do that before.   Feels pretty good.

You won’t see this, but you did the right thing. I have two regular posters on Ignore and my posting experience is better. Don’t hit the “show this post” option. Stay true to your Ignore choice.

Imagine your school baseball team playing in a field so bad that you can't host a conference tournament which is one of very few revenue generating opportunities for the sport and you think thats acceptable and not a failure by the administration

A couple of updates from SLU players that entered the portal this year.   Relief pitcher Brock Graf has signed with Holy Cross and relief pitcher Max Babich signed with    Div 3 Milwaukee School of Engineering.   Go Raiders.

Let's imagine SLU had access to a very famous former STL baseball player that had a keen interest in the success of SLU baseball. Would be really cool for BVF to have an event with proceeds going direct to baseball NIL with said famous player. I'm guessing $500 per person could be charged and that would make a big impact on A10 baseball NIL.

Same kinda idea could be used for basketball. Of course it requires cooperation of said famous persons.

Maybe this idea has been explored.

Probably not by the athletics leadership

Some might call this the A.J. Soprano effect. Using the son to get to the father, etc.
I’m not sure how accessible Mark would be for our program. I know Brad Daubach’s brother Brian sent some batting cage nets to Bob Hughes via FEDEX back in the day. Some hand-me-downs from Pawtucket.

What would Okie Billiken pay for a Father Son SLU autographed baseball or basketball card?
