No ESPN+ for today's game... that sucks.

Yesterday's broadcast was pretty pathetic for most of it, so maybe our production crew uses programs like SJU as the benchmark.

Freshman Jackson Yarberry will likely take the mound today... 4-2 w/ a 4.29 ERA... 1.28 WHIP.  Richter has been effective in the lead-off spot while Moore recovers from the fracture received against @#$%&^ Cincinnati.  Now has a .420 average which would easily lead most clubs but... Clohisy has an otherworldly .462 average going.  😎

Schertz should take his tennis racket to the game and blast a serve to the catcher.

Lights get turned on at SLU and one of the lights explodes over the visitors dugout, showering Southern Indiana with glass.

DH had to go apologize to their team and game stopped while everyone picked up glass on the field.

Meanwhile the new basketball coach is hanging out by the bullpen learning how to throw getting ready for a Cardinals first pitch.  Maybe part of his negotiations could have included getting baseball LED lights installed that were already donated.

Roy Hobbs Jr, a redshirt sophomore out of Lenexa, KS, took the blame for those lights exploding, naturally.

This sums up Chris May in a nutshell. I know he’s busy on his big fan fest world (local) tour that he’s the greatest AD ever with Schertz hire (Chaifetz actually did the hiring and May is just the punching bag/lackey) but whatever. Guy is still a complete fool. It’s amazing but not really at slu that only at slu would this guy be given chance to be involved in hiring a third coach. Why is that? Oh bc Chaifetz runs mbb. Forget about getting a new facility with this AD. That picture sums up Chris May’s career. An outdated, busted out light bulb 20 Years past its prime. But SLU fans now will tell you it’s an LED light! Lol

If Chaifetz runs SLU basketball and May is so completely incompetent why does he not get him fired?

Good news:  Billikens complete the sweep of Davidson, pitch very well allowing just three runs over the past two days.

Bad news:  Starting catcher Knox Preston left the game with an injury Sunday and starting shortstop Austin Nueweg, who has been a defensive anchor and show occasional pop with the bat was helped off the field with a leg injury after being thrown out stealing.   Hopefully both will be able to be back soon because both would be big losses defensively, the area SLU has been SO MUCH IMPROVED from last year.

No midweek game this week.  They head to Fordham this weekend and then GW the following weekend.   Next home game is in May.  :(

Because the President is a lame duck and won’t make a change?

May will be “retiring” soon enough, and will take his victory lap.

Nice.  Fordham isn't very good but they do seem to play better at home.   They took 2 of 3 from Richmond and also just won a series at UMass.   We need to win this series to stay in first place overall.

My in-laws are just up 95 in Mamaroneck, NY. Home of Winged Foot. Wife has an appointment in the city Friday morning, so we’ll run down there and stop off at Fordham on the way back. Damn the Ram!

Looks like neither Neuweg (SS) or Preston (C) are in the lineup today at Fordham!  CRAP!!!!!    Thats three full-time starters and perhaps our best pitcher on the shelf.   DAMN IT!!!! This team could be really special if healthy.                  @BillTheCat   Any updates??
