dlarry
The greatest individual Billiken game is debatable. The greatest Billiken accomplishment off all time is not….. slufanskip, Box and Won, NextYearBill and 1 other like this

Looked it up 39 pts, 8 reb, 2 assist, 5-6 from 3, 12-25 from the field. Wasn't this the game he did the end of game layup and everyone was pissed. BilliesBy40
That was also the first game where Travis let Tremaine wear his favorite green shoes. After that performance, he was able to wear them during the A10 tourney, and we all know what happened there.

Matty Light
I have to nominate the late great Justin Love. In just his 4th game as a Billiken he scored 24 points in only 17 minutes to beat the #13 Kansas Jayhawks. He was 7-10 from the floor including his 3rd trey in 4 attempts to beat the final buzzer and send us students storming the Savvis Center floor. Legendary! brianstl likes this
HoosierPal
In 1948, St. Louis defeated New York University to win the National Invitational Tournament, then considered the national championship. The New York Post reported that “the worst blizzard of the season” hit N.Y.U. in the form of “a 6-8 stringbean named Ed Macauley.” He scored 24 points in a 41-24 victory. It's hard to rank greatest ever sports achievements from eras where players were white only. I'm assuming that this was the case here despite the existence of racial integration at these universities in 1948. It's why I have a difficult time determining how good players like Pete Maravich, Steve Spurrier and Rogers Hornsby really were.

I put the LSU game above St Joes on the basis of the quality of the opponent and as I said I limited to 1 game per player.. I will say I probably have rewatched that St Joes game more than any other in recent history because my 2 and a half year old son really enjoyed watching "the game with the hawk". cgeldmacher likes this
Dr Bird
Rob Loe was amazing in the NCAA win against NC State. 22 Points/15 Rebs. He obviously had a lot of help too. I'm not saying it's a top 10, but that effort in a huge game is definitely worthy of remembering! slufanskip, RiseOfTheBillikens and NextYearBill like this
