Mason goes to 3 and 0.  Fordham has three point lead and ball with 5 to go.  Uconn coming back down 8 to the Joeys under 8.  Daly with 24 with 5 threes.

Penn beats La Salle.

Did anyone see the look Tay gave Perkins after Tay hit the three and EWU came down and got it right back?

Tay is a player man.  Grown man out there.

We fawn over Yuri, but when we face high major competition, Weaver might be needed.

The two things I see in Perkins are:

1. He's got a scorer's mentality. When he gets the ball, he's going to shoot.

2. He looks panicked when he gets the ball, like he doesn't quite know where he needs to be or what else he can do besides shoot.

He needs to settle down, get more acclimated to the system, and get some confidence in his all-around game. He's made some shots in stretches this season but he's not taking particularly good shots and he's taking them way too quickly. I feel like he could really fill it up if he figures it out.

Perkins looked the same way in high school.  That's actually what he looks like.

He's 3/5 from the field and has two assists.  This is easily his best offensive game.  The two shots he missed were wide open in the flow of the offense.  He just missed them.

No more knocking Yurimania. Great pass to French!

My bad but he played better after my post.

Good analysis.  Javonte has had that panicked look since 4th grade.  It will appear like he's not engaged in the game offensively...then he gets the ball in his hands and then goes to work lol.

My comments are in reference to every SLU game so far, not just tonight. His shots tonight have been marginally better.

I haven't seen enough to him to have realized that's just his demeanor. He's an unusual player.
