Not a bad loss by any means, but would have been nice for SLU if they could have pulled it off. Elsewhere games of interest for SLU: 3:30pm CT - UMKC at North Dakota in Summit League action. KenPom has ND by 2. Hopefully McKissic & Co can knock off the Fighting Hawks for SLU's sake. 4pm CT - Cent. Ark at McNeese St. Conference road games are always tough, but McNeese is awful. Need Cent. Ark W for SLU. KenPom has them by 3. No way to watch this one. 5pm CT - UAPB takes on Miss Valley State in a matchup of the worst teams in D1. UAPB is actually favored by 11(!) per KenPom as it is a home game and MV St. is ranked as worse than them. Thank god there doesn't appear to be a way to watch this game as the terribleness of the teams would make your eyes bleed. 5pm CT - Indiana State at MO State. The Sycamore are projected to lose by 4. An upset here would make SLU's W over Indiana State which is currently their 3rd best W look better. With a shortened season each individual game carries more weight than a normal year which I why I'm watching our opponents a little more closely. Shaka has spent the last five years wasting 4 and 5 star talent. But I have to get him credit: he's got this year's crew playing elite defense. And all day against Kansas they turned defense into offense. The Pat Kennedy Waste of Talent title belt is now in Memphis Tennessee, worn by one Penny Hardaway. 3star_recruit
Tennessee's normally stout defense can't find the shooter. And Alabama is making them pay. And Tennessee is shooting like last year's version of the Bills from the free throw line.
Schasz
Petty is a Bama player who has always been a thorn in the Vols side and tonight was not different. No way did I think UT would go undefeated in the SEC. More concerned that one of their Frosh 5 Stars Jaden Springer went out with an injury and never returned. John Fulkerson shoots great from the line and tonight was 3 for 8.

Still it’s between them and Loyola Chicago as Valley champ. Next weekend those 2 play their 2 game set at Drake which will likely decide the regular season crown. Schedule is definitely on Drake’s favor since they’ve got the HCA.

Fatts dribbled down and let go an off balance 3 but the defender fouled him just before he released the ball. Fatts made all 3 free throws. No excuse for fouling then, but it happens. Crushing defeat for St. Joe.
