3star_recruit
The NBL season is only four months long. Still time for a player to catch on with a G League team which is the most direct route to the NBA. However, the NBL pays a lot more than the G League (60-100K for American imports vs a cap of $26K in the G-League) and English is the native language, unlike most European countries. brianstl
The big plus to Australia for a lot of players is that there isn't a language barrier and there isn't the culture shock that can be experienced when you are living for months in Europe. billiken_roy likes this

I spent 3 months in Sidney in 1992 working for Kellogg’s and it is a awesome place to live. The women in Australia love American men and it was strange to hear that I had an accent. The Australian people I spent time with were fun loving beer drinkers, my kind of people. The only culture shock will be the driving in the right front seat instead of the left. My advice to Javon while driving if your seat is closest to the middle of the road you are driving the right direction. Best wishes Javon Good Day TheChosenOne likes this

TheChosenOne
I have not followed it at all this year, but The Basketball Tournament is into the quarterfinals. One of the teams in the quarterfinals is Loyalty Is Love who Willie Reed is playing with. Just looking at their last game he had 21 points (10/15 shooting) and 10 rebounds. They play a team called Overseas Elite (has won the tournament 4 years in a row) this Friday in Chicago at 6:00 pm on ESPN. The quarterfinals are Thursday/Friday, semifinals on Sunday afternoon (games on ESPN), and the $2 Million Championship game on Tuesday night (on ESPN). All remaining games are at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. Another wasted 25 minutes that I wanted to share with the board (some interesting names from the past on these teams). https://www.thetournament.com/bracket
