this is my favorite target, he keeps a baller name to fit that criteria, and is a large framed 6'3 PG.

he's every bit of 6'3", and looks like he could pack on muscle. and you can tell he's playing quite a bit slower than he could, to stay under control. you know he would learn to play fast in a hurry, playing with jett and mccall for a year. i'm way excited about this kid, too.

I also had to look it up. It appears to be located at Lafayette and Compton: http://www.slcacougars.org/default.html - which is odd, because I lived in Shaw and rode my bike by there a lot and never noticed a ton of activity. Certainly not enough to indicate a K-12 school was inhabiting those buildings. "Est. 1952." Something's not right.

Looks like they push the international program; must be how they got Ike: http://www.slcacougars.org/International-Program.html

That's practically on campus.

Ironically, that part of the clip was from a game at Beverly Hills High School. Until I saw the banner in the gym, I would've been more likely to guess somewhere in South Central LA.

Beverly Hills High school is extremeeelyyyy welll off. Huge money there. I am surprised the gym looks like that. I guess Persians aren't huge on basketball. hah.

I looked the place up on Wikipedia to make sure the school was actually in Beverly Hills, and apparently the gym has some feature where the swimming pool is under the basketball court. Could have something to do with odd setup.

Not gonna lie. I'd be extremely pleased if Randy Onwuasor became a Billiken. Watched that video posted of him, and usually with most recruit videos posted on here, I'm usually like, "ok that was a nice little highlight video." with this kid, i said "dayum, this kid can ball." he looked like a man among boys.

That video made me Randy.

Wonder if the BH gym was the set for the famous Capra movie, "It's a Wonderful Life"... remember Jimmy Stewart falling into the pool w/ Donna Reed when the gym floor opened up.

I have read that it is one and the same, yes.

And actually called the Swim Gym.

Beverly Hills has good and bad neighborhoods. It's Hollywood that is truly a miserable place. Those studios just get older and older. The actors/waiters/waitresses/porn stars aren't really particular about their neighborhoods. Once you're discovered and have that one hot job you move to Malibu or Thousand Oaks or Santa Barbara....etc.

This is true. I believe I wrote this before when we were talking about something. We played Beverly Hills in soccer my Jr. year so '77-'78. We were wondering around campus and the thing I remember is the gym floor slides open to a swimming pool underneath. I remember being in awe.

I think someone mentioned he was here yesterday. He appears that he would be a good get. Big PG's gave us problems last year; the kid from X, Charlotte, and that fu&%er from Temple, Wyatt. What would be most surprising would be if SLU could actually land a left coaster. Since, it's the spring period, am sure there are BCS teams out there looking to fill in a schollie or two, so i'm guessing our odds are not good, but at least he came to visit. That's a good sign. Don't want to sound negative, just a realist.
