Game time at UD Arena is set for 6 p.m. (CT). The Billikens close the regular season on Saturday night at Chaifetz Arena when they host the Duquesne Dukes. Game time is 7 p.m. Following the game, SLU will honor its three seniors for Senior Night – Gibson Jimerson, Kobe Johnson and Isaiah Swope. FOLLOWING THE ACTION Tuesday's game will be streamed on ESPN+. KMOX 1120 AM is the home for SLU men's basketball on the radio. Billiken Hall of Famers and longtime SLU men's basketball radio partners Bob Ramsey and Earl Austin Jr. will the call the action for all SLU games, both at home and on the road. Ramsey is in his 39th season calling SLU games, while Austin is in year No. 34. NEWS & NOTES Saint Louis and Dayton are two of four teams tied for third in the league standings with 10-6 league records. The Billikens are coming off a 98-67 win over Loyola Chicago where they broke the school record for 3-pointers made in a game with 18. Additionally, the +31 margin of victory is tied for the highest in an A-10 win since joining the league in 2005-06. Saint Louis leads the A-10 in FG% (.473), effective FG% (.560) and defensive rpg (28.0, 13th in NCAA). SLU needs four 3-pointers (three to tie) to break the SLU single-season record of 284 (1994-95). Gibson Jimerson drained a school-record nine 3-pointers in the win over Loyola Chicago on Saturday. He scores 17.5 ppg and leads all active players in Division I with 404 career 3s. Robbie Avila is tied for team-high honors with 17.5 ppg. He leads all centers in Division I in assists (4.0) and 3s made per game (1.7). Avila is one of five players in Division I averaging at least 17.5 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.0 assists. Isaiah Swope leads the Bills and is fourth in the A-10 with 4.5 assists per game. He also averages 15.9 ppg. Jimerson and Swope are first and second, respectively, in the A-10 in 3s made per game. Only SLU and Alabama have a set of teammates who have drained 300 or more treys in their careers. Amari McCottry is shooting 62.5 percent (10-of-16) and averaging 9.7 points and 5.3 rebounds over the last three games. Head coach Josh Schertz is in his first season at SLU. His .776 winning percentage ranks No. 8 among active coaches across all three NCAA divisions. ABOUT THE FLYERS The University of Dayton Flyers (Dayton, Ohio) have won two in a row and are 20-9 overall and 10-6 in league play. The Flyers are 15-2 this season at UD Arena. Dayton defeated Saint Louis 71-63 earlier this season at Chaifetz Arena. Nate Santos leads the way for Dayton with 14.3 ppg, while Enoch Cheeks follows closely at 13.3 ppg. Cheeks also leads Dayton in rebounding (6.3 per game) and steals (1.9 per game). Malachi Smith averages 10.5 ppg and is second in the A-10 in assists per game (5.4). Javon Bennett is the fourth Dayton Flyer in double figures with 10.4 ppg. The Flyers are second in the A-10 in team 3-point percentage (.354) and assist/turnover ratio (1.44). Head coach Anthony Grant is in his eight season coaching at his alma mater. SERIES HISTORY This is the 74th meeting all-time between the Billikens and Flyers. Dayton holds a 43-30 lead in the series and have won three in a row. SLU's last win in the series came on March 3, 2023, at Chaifetz Arena. Dayton has won the last 10 games played at UD Arena. The last SLU win in Dayton came on Jan. 11, 2014. The Billikens have won just three times in 18 games at UD Arena since joining the A-10 in 2005-06. Quote
