this feels like one of those A-10 tourney games in 2004-2006.  Just bottom out, no plan or direction. 

 

Honestly the closest semi-realistic comparison to Majerus could be… Pitino. Legendary coach, controversial figure (albeit in a different way than Rick). Old.

This doesn't happen to good teams. It's very embarrassing how often this happens. 

 

That's my thing. I don't really mind losing. Getting murdered multiple times a year is downright embarrassing and when we don't make the tourny I don't think this team has anyone to blame but themselves. Same way I felt about Davidson in the a10s last year. There's no way we should be getting blown out by these teams.

This has been probably the worst comprehensive performance I can remember in the Ford era.  Just got ran out of the f****** gym. 
 

Travis got worked tonight by a Hall of Fame coach. Unfortunately he’s also gotten worked by a lot of non-HoF coaches.  He is exactly who the OK St fans told us he was.

For the first time I think it's pretty obvious Travis isn't the answer. You can't lose by 20+ against Iona. This is supposed to be the year. This can't happen. End of story. Real hard look is required.
