There are still too many Power 5's + 1 or +2 below the cutoff line for any comfort.

55 Syracuse, 57 Duke, 71 Michigan State still lurk, seemingly with Blueblood Exemptions, especially in the cases of Duke and Michigan State.  Jimmy Boeheim has been snubbed before.

In the Plus 1 or Plus 2 additions, 53 Xavier, 54 SMU, 56 Memphis, and 66 Wichita State are still in the picture.  Xavier thinks it's in.

The Last 4 IN per the NET are 46 Mizzou, 47 Utah State, 49 Louisville and 52 Seton Hall.  The First 4 OUT per the NET are 53 Xavier, 54 SMU, 55 Syracuse, and 56 Memphis.  The next 4 OUT per the NET are 57 Duke, 58 Ole Miss, 59 Indiana (now toast), and 61 Stanford.

I know there is Mizzou sentiment among elements of this Board.  But we really could use a Florida win tonight over Mizzou.  MU is ahead 54-49 with 9:49 left.

Mizzou holds off Fla. 72-70. Not good.

Next to last 4 IN per the NET are:  42 SLU, 43 Boise State, 44 North Carolina, and 45 Virginia Tech.

Drake is 1 spot ahead of SLU at 41.  I think Drake is a prime candidate for excision.

Colgate, unless they win the Patriot

Florida looked like they were actively trying to lose that game. Mizzou is the luckiest team in America

The consolation being that I think it increases the chances of LSU beating them on  Saturday.

Johnnies up 5 on Providence w/ 5 to go. NC State taking care of ND, up 17 at the under 4. What happened to the Gophers. Injuries?

I don’t buy that Mizzou was a bubble team. They’ll probably be a 6/7 seed. I don’t think them losing to Florida really hurts.

12-0 ND run cuts the lead to 7 and State has missed two straight one and ones.

Complete collapse by State as Hellems misses the front end.

State restores order and wins by 11. That's five straight wins for the Pack, and they have no more regular season games to play. State may wind up having to play in the first round of the ACC tourney against Miami.

People thought Mizzou was on the bubble going into tonight’s game? Lunardi had Mizzou dropping down just a few seeds to an 8 or 9 with a loss at FLA.

That will push our NC State win to Q2.  That is important.  But our MN loss could fall to Q2 also.  That is bad.

NC state missing free throws? Where have I seen that before...

FWIW, Northwestern knocks off Maryland, 60-55.
