Jordan Goodwin Is Now A Memphis Grizzly
2010andBeyond replied to thetorch's topic in Billikens.com Main Board
I hope so. It was not encouraging that he wasn’t claimed off waivers on essentially a league minimum deal and ended up back on a two-way. I’m not sure if he improved his stock or not in Memphis given the mess that team was. Will be interesting so see how it plays out this summer. Also not sure if he’s eligible for another two-way or not next season. -
Haha exactly, though that would be pretty funny. “Hey Connor, look at all our cool $hit, too bad you’ll never get to enjoy it! Catch ya later” I do think there could have likely been a conversation around playing time/role that resulted in coach telling him he’s essentially Robbie’s backup and him deciding he’s looking for more.

Lol, yeah forgot about that one. He was a bit before my time.

Better than Reed? I’m hoping for a slightly better Rob Loe.

Probably been mentioned somewhere on here already, but BVF has a clean new site. Looks like we might finally be getting serious again https://billikenvictoryfund.com -

Incredibly encouraging to see this type of renewed commitment from the boosters. Can’t wait to see the players roll in -
I’m now rooting for Ind St to lose in the semis for the sole reason of shutting this thread down
-
It’s pretty funny, everytime I look over there the number gets inflated

Hopefully a lot of the UL-Schertz smoke is the agent trying to score for Pitino

Parker is more Malik Yarbrough than Larry Hughes.

The guys been fired twice by East Carolina. He certainly moves the needle, but in the wrong direction -
They also appear to have essentially stopped recruiting.

He was on the suns roster long enough his entire $1.9M for this season was guaranteed. He also gets a $325k option buyout for next season that was a part of the contract that was waived. Really odd he went from starting to DNP. I figured he was gone after that and was surprised he ended up on a two-way but I also thought maybe someone would claim him and pick up his minimum contract so what do I know. His interest was apparently pretty low given the 10-day and then two-way. I guess his shooting stats are killing him. -

The buildings and stuff all matter, just in comparison to those in your tax bracket. Kids likely aren’t going to take a paycut to go somewhere with nicer facilities, but it can absolutely be a tie breaker between two similar offers. -
This is fair. I’ve got no issues with putting some pressure out there and making it clear the fan base is unhappy, but I don’t see the point in saying things like “he doesn’t care” or worse direct personal attacks. None of us know his real opinions or level of involvement at all, except for A-bomb and his “reports”.
-
Exactly. No went after Ford personally and especially did not personally attack his family. Rather, his son took the initiative to go after and personally attack fans.
-
I’m not sure why the guy would want to waste a year of eligibility at this point

Jordan has also bagged himself at least a $50k bonus by way of the Suns advancement in the in-season tournament. If they win tonight, this goes up to $100k and could be as much as $500k if they win the tournament.
