JMM28
Outstanding. I hope the women can make some noise in the A10. Their RPI seems too low for an at large bid at this point, but I'm not that familiar with the women's setup.

slu72
Even under Rick I'm not sure we ever got 9,985. Close, but not the record. Hope the AD took notice. They will today when they see about 5,000 for the men's game.
BigMouthBilliken
Not that it matters but were some tickets handed out for free or was it all paid attendance? If it's the latter that's extremely impressive
FromDaEastSide
Not sure how many tickets were giveaways and how many were paid, doesn't really matter when you get 9,985 in the house and people are spending money and having a good time. The ladies are fun to watch, they shot 53% last night beyond the arc in the 2nd half (8-15) and forced 19 TOs. #ReSignLisaStone You could tell they all enjoy playing with each other and for their coach. Here is a little reminder what a full house at Chaifetz looks like. Also, they started showing tweets on the video board with #Billikens, that should be fun today how many are shown if we play like we have been. majerus mojo
Does anyone mind giving some quick hits on the Lady Bills? Where did Stone come from? Key players/what year in school, chance we make the NCAAs, etc.? Thanks!

FromDaEastSide
The opener against SIU last year had an announced attendance of 10,015. Quote was during the Rickma era, but during the Jimmy Crews Babysitting Era (2012-2013, 2013-2014) 9 times over 10k Jimmy Crews Destruction era (2014 to present) Home opener against SIU in 2014 was 10,015. Since then 29 home games, average attendance 6744.

JohnnyJumpUp
Not that it matters but were some tickets handed out for free or was it all paid attendance? If it's the latter that's extremely impressive I would guess nearly all were hand outs. They gave away 10's of thousands of tickets to that game. Put it this way, if someone showed up for every ticket handed out, it would have been one of the largest, if not the largest attendance for a sporting event in St. Louis history. hsmith19
I traded coupons from the season ticket book for tickets at the box office, but they weren't even asking for tickets at the doors.

Not the men. We don't want first timers to see this team. They may never come back..
billikenfan05
I don't know how concessions and parking are divided, but giving away free tickets is a great idea. Not necessarily. When you can usually get tickets for free how often do you feel like paying for the same tickets.
