SLU leads the A-10 in FG% and eFG%, while the Bonnies top the A-10 and are 11th nationally in scoring defense. Wednesday's game also features two of the three undefeated teams in the A-10. Richmond (at Mason on Wednesday) is also 2-0 on the young A-10 season. SLU is 2-0 in the A-10 for the fourth time in its 20 years in the league. The Billikens won their first two conference games both by a double-digit margin for the first time since 1994-95. SLU's 2-point field-goal percentages in the first two conference games against Fordham and Saint Joseph's were .730 and .667, respectively. Both of those marks rank in the top-5 in SLU history in 2FG% in an A-10 game. SLU is led in scoring by the trio of Isaiah Swope (18.3 ppg), Gibson Jimerson (18.2 ppg) and Robbie Avila (18.2 ppg). The Billikens are the only program in the country with three players averaging 18.0 or more points per game. Gibson Jimerson needs one more 3-pointer to become the A-10's all-time leader in 3FGs. He enters Wednesday's game with 361 career 3s, tied with Jimmy Baron (URI, 2006-09). Jimerson is the school record holder in career points and career 3s. Robbie Avila has scored in double figures in each of his 12 appearances. His 4.7 assists per game and 2.1 3-pointers made per game lead all centers in NCAA Division I this season. Isaiah Swope scores 18.3 ppg (third in the A-10) and leads the Billikens with 5.5 assists (third in the A-10). He is one of five players in NCAA Division I averaging those numbers. Kalu Anya leads the A-10 in rebounds per game (10.2). Head coach Josh Schertz's .781 winning percentage ranks No. 7 among active coaches across all three NCAA divisions. ABOUT THE BONNIES St. Bonaventure University (St. Bonaventure, N.Y.) enters Wednesday's game 14-1 overall and 2-0 in league play. The Bonnies, who have beat VCU and Fordham in league play thus far, have won eight in a row and are receiving votes in this week's AP Top 25. The Bonnies had their best start to a season since the 1969-70 Final Four squad, led by Bob Lanier, opened that year 12-0. St. Bonaventure's lone loss this year came against Utah State, which is ranked No. 25 in this week's AP Top 25. The Bonnies defeated Providence at the Hall of Fame Showcase at the Mohegan Sun. That makes 12 wins for the Bonnies over Power 5 and Big East opponents since 2017-18. Five Bonnies score in double figures. Chance Moore is the team's top scorer (14.8 ppg) and rebounder (7.4 rpg). He started his collegiate career at Arkansas and played the last two years at Missouri State. Melvin Council Jr. was named A-10 Player of the Week on Monday. He averaged 22.0 points, 6.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals in two wins to open A-10 play. He hit the game-winning bucket with 3.3 seconds to play in a 77-75 win against VCU, finishing with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists while playing all 40 minutes to defeat the preseason conference favorite. Noel Brown scores 12.9 ppg, while Lajae Jones contributes 10.3 ppg. Dasonte Bowen contributes 11.1 ppg to go along with 4.2 apg, but he has not played the last five games due to an injury. The Bonnies lead the A-10 and rank 11th nationally in scoring defense as they yield just 61.1 ppg. Head coach Mark Schmidt is in his 18th season at St. Bonaventure with a 316-227 record. He is 398-317 in 24 seasons overall as a collegiate head coach. SERIES HISTORY The all-time series is tied 16-16. The Bills have won three straight, including last year's 73-65 victory at the Reilly Center in New York. Quote

SLU plays the Bonnies only once in the A10 regular season, needs to protect the home court. Quote
