OkieBilliken
Just purchased my tickets to this tournament. Games are Thursday, Friday and Sunday before thanksgiving. It’s not too bad a drive from Jacksonville. It would be nice if we could get wins over Charleston and Wichita State to take the title. Myrtle Beach is a very nice area, but it’s a good 20 minutes from CCU where the tournament is being played. Who else is going???

Cowboy II
-if only there was some resource where one could look up the schedule from prior years, something like that should be invented

I already had an account because I went to a CCU baseball game this year so it was super easy. My wife and I will be attending. @Billiken Rich You in?… One of my buddies I work with lives literally across the street from that Publix. She unfortunately did not win. Not so much for recent preseason tourneys: 2022: Lost to Maryland, beat Providence in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off. 2021: Won the Cancun Challenge. 2020: Won the Billiken Classic (at home). 2019: Won the Gotham Classic. Young Charles
That beating Maryland put on us was brutal to watch, they had good fans though. That Providence game was electric, there's something to be said about being 1 of maybe 100ish Billiken fans in a sea of fans from the opposing team and getting the win. It looks like everything is General Admission by section. We also got center sideline. Other than sessions featuring the host CCU, I would be surprised if there are large crowds. I guess Furman and C of C might bring a few hundred people each.
BLIKNS
Just called ticket office , said they will sell session tickets starting in October sometime, will have an early session( 2 games) and a late session(2 games). Of course we won't know what session we will be playing in , till the games are played.

Kelsey has excited the whole town about Cougar hoops. They were a very hot ticket last season.

RUBillsFan
T-Rank's projections for next season look like this: Charleston - 88 Vermont - 133 SLU - 139 Wyoming - 236 Wichita State - 105 Costal Carolina - 313 Furman - 124 Liberty - 83 If the bracket were to go chalk according to these rankings, SLU would finish in 4th place W over Wyoming, loss to Charleston, loss to Wichita State. Good news for SLU is that this is a very winnable tournament if they exceed expectations a bit. Bad news is there aren't any signature Ws in there and losing more than 1 game probably ends up looking brutal on the resume. brianstl, Zink and HoosierPal like this

Good. Then nine of them should feel the need to beat the Billikens in order to go to the NCAAs.
