Perkins in foul trouble keeps the Billiken’s at bay and making bad calls stops any chance of an upset.  An upset equals a lower seed.

Kwamain was good. Better scorer than Yuri, and only slightly behind on playmaking....  Can't believe that team with Lisch and Liddell as seniors wasn't better.

Jordan Goodwin, Hasahn French, Kwamain Mitchell, Kevin Lisch and Tommie Liddell were all pretty good.

SLU is and always has been an outlier in this East Coast based league, is the only school not in the Eastern Time Zone. 

SLU was a 4 Seed in NCAA in ‘13, not a 2 Seed.

Toppin, who is arguably the POY in college basketball, also gives Dayton a star power we didn't have in 2014.  The NCAA loves superstars.
