billikenfan05
Bishop looks to have some good scorers instincts just need him to grows up and hit the shotsThis game will be instrumental in his growth
billikenbill
Mike Crawford came to play. Keep taking the threes Mike.
SLU_Nick
This game will be instrumental in his growth So miles just stays on the bench? Bishop can't guard at this level (yet)
johnbj14
MC should look to be more aggressive in this offense. The guy can flat out shoot and could easily score 15-20 on a nightly basis.
slufan13
Bishop can't guard anyone but he's been pretty solid offensively. Moves the ball well and is a threat to score
billikenbill
Impressed by our defense. Love what I'm seeing from Bishop Really liking Bishop so far. Excellent stroke, a pure PG.
brianstl
We lost the game because Louisville is much better than us. Not because of strategy. Louisville is more talented. That said, a strategy that has Reggie getting 12 minutes at this point against Louisvile is a losing strategy.
Billiken Rich
When Louisville went on their one serious run and the Bills looked gassed and out of control, WHY DID WE NOT BURN A FREAKING TIME OUT? That is the one thing Crews does that makes me CRAZY!
Bizziken
Its a marathon, not a sprint. Other than a 5 minute lapse on our part, we've played them fairly even.
White Pelican
We're starting to foul them out now. We've got this.

juniorbill76
So about as expected in the end. If not for the last gratuitous 3 it would have been right on The Wiz's call.
SLU_Nick
I don't understand why bishop replaced miles for all those minutes. That was basically the same scenario as the ncaas against Louisville in 2013. Hang tough...then get blown out and not watch crews call a time out
billikenfan05
Ash with 0 points baffles me....Does it? Maybe they keyed on ash and took him out.
Franchise_08
Had the lead in the 2nd half until Singh had that travel and

billikenbill
The Wiz was dead on it until the last possession three. Until (if) Neufeld becomes a contributor in the paint, we're basically playing 4 against 5.
kshoe
Louisville is more talented. That said, a strategy that has Reggie getting 12 minutes at this point against Louisvile is a losing strategy. I agree Reggie should have played more but he played a fair amount in the second half and that's when we got blown out. Clearly, even if crews had played the optimal lineup all night we still lose tonight.
slufan13
Louisville is just better. I don't expect our bigs to be able to play against them but our bigs really just aren't any good
Billikenboy
We lost the game because Louisville is much better than us. Not because of strategy. Not saying they are not good but JC strategy sucked from the onset. I feel like you just have to play your game to give yourself the best chance. A game where Ash is ineffective, Reggie never gets going, we will lose everytime because there goes your rebounding and defensive punch. MC played a hell of a game but got no help. I feel really bad for these kids. The game was never that bad and they had a chance to pull it off.

billikenbill
Most troubling thing is how we couldn't keep them out of the lane. Just way too easy for them to score at the rim. Getting smoked on the boards is not surprising but defending that poorly is.
JettFlight5
I thought the Bills played pretty well matching up small, but the difference in the talent level of the big guys was the difference. The Cardinals massacred SLU on the glass.

Old guy
Ok my turn. We lost. It was not a favorable loss, we went over the estimated 15 point loss margin. We will lose in our rankings by tomorrow. However, I thought we played well. We defended well and played reasonably well against a much better team that rationally we were not going to beat. We did fine for the first 3/4 of the game and fell flat in our faces in the last 1/4. Do not know if we got tired or they got fired up. However I do know that there was a huge disparity in the rebounds. A team simply cannot win if the opposition rebounds 20 to your 5, period. We were out rebounded and out FT'd, we also were outscored by them. A loss is a loss, I hope our guys learned something from this one. Otherwise I am pretty certain that we can play against any teams in the A10 and have a chance to win the game, as we did tonight. However, we were just not good enough for Louisville.
