Pistol
41 combined points from Bishop and Hines - none of you could have predicted that, eh? 12 and 12 from Agbeko. 27 points from Ash, even going 3/6 from deep.
MusicCityBilliken
best ball game I seen the Bills play in 2 years
Pistol
Meanwhile, Gibbs was 2/11 from 3. Davidson was 10-36 overall from deep. Gibbs somehow still got his average, 26. Dude is active. Davidson had 75 freaking shot attempts - and luckily only converted 31 of them. Only 7 turnovers from each team. We only got outrebounded by 2 tonight. I thought Ash was really good on both ends of the court tonight. I actually thought the team was much better in the second half defensively. davidnark
My take away is that you shouldn't chase big men stiffs or tall guards and should instead should find guys who can hoop regardless of height. Speed, quickness, and shooting still rule the day.
CBFan
Hopefully an end to the boring no scoring team of turnovers. The bigs have been so bad this year so why not play to the team strength and depth, the guards. The Bills will not win a bunch but at least it is entertaining. JettFlight5
If anyone predicted this outburst, raise your hand. If your hand is up, you are probably lying.
Pistol
We went small, like a lot of us have been pushing for, and it worked. Reynolds, Roby, Jolly, and Neufeld really weren't factors. Kind of weird to think since they make up half of the scholarship roster, but it appears we were successful by largely ignoring the sophomore class. billikenbill
Slash line of 54/41/81 and only 7 turnovers on 77 possessions. That's terrific. Love the new lineup.

brianstl
The simplifying of the offense alone is going to lead to fewer turnovers. That damn motion offens from 40 years ago was a train wreck.
davidnark
I give Roby, Reynolds, and Bartley credit. When they showed shots of them on the bench they appeared genuinely supportive and happy, not bitter about losing playing time.

Reynolds has been effective but he is not playing much and the scoring is improving and less turnovers.
almaman
Individually Hines, Bishop, and Abeko all scored more than the whole sophomore 6 pack, Hines and Bishop both double or more.

JMM28
So they beat two A10 contenders but get whipped by one of the worst teams in the A10?
cheeseman
Its so hard to tweet #FireJimCrews after a great win No it is not - he is not the answer so don't be confused by the occasional win. My question is why has it taken Crews so long to figure out who his best guards are?
