SLUBALLS
Cool way to start a nice Saturday morning….got to bench for my boys’ second game of Lou Fusz Tourney at 8am. Coach on the field next to me walks over to confirm field numbers. Immediately recognize him even after 20 years since he was at SLU….Jacky Jewsbury. That guy had a great career at SLU and in the MLS. Said he’s now back in KC area and was in town for tourney, coaching his daughter’s team. Still looks like he could get on the field with ease. slufanskip, thatskablamo, Pistol and 1 other like this

They are playing as Puma but they are switching to Kansas City Surf with their new Surf affiliation. (San Diego and Bay Area being the most successful and well known) Jackie’s kids are 2010 and 2012. It also provides valuable experience for younger college bound players. Several incoming SLU commits have been playing on various MLS Next Pro teams. (Leatherman, Sullivan, Sellers, etc) It has helped Kipp Keller this season: https://www.austinfc.com/austinfcii/news/keller-s-leadership-plays-key-role-in-unbeaten-start-for-austin-fc-ii And MLS Next Pro success for Isaiah Parker led his loan to San Antonio in USL, where he gets to start and play. He’s stuck behind Farfan in Dallas. ……………… SLU is adding Cole Ross to its Fall roster. He is a former SLSG Academy midfielder who played club ball with multiple current Billikens. He sat out the year at Dayton. He’s the cousin of former Billiken Donny Ross. courtside
SLU has a new 2024 commitment from Gershon Henry. Gershon is a left footed 6’1 center back, from Real Salt Lake Academy. Gershon was one of 45 players selected to the inaugural MLS Next Pro All Star Game last Summer. He has competed with both the U15 and U17 United States Youth National Team, (including last Summer’s friendlies in Argentina) and recently, with the U17 Finnish Youth National Team. SLUBALLS
Has there been an actual announcement on the 2023 class coming in and details on each recruit like we have seen in the past? I know names have come up on here via a variety of sources but I always like SLU's run down and Kalish's comments on each.

SLUBALLS
Yep. Looked like old Klein buzzing around the pitch. Had to be an absolute amazing experience for him. And to think he and Becher may be on pitch next week together is pretty amazing. Boy they were to watch at SLU.

Perhaps the Louiligans can bring their drum corp to Chaifetz sometime. Glad #41 got in. We all hope they continue to give him minutes with the big team. I thought the NCAA has a rule against using artificial sound producing items during the game?

Don't understand your statement. What is the difference between a drum corp and a band? They both use instruments. The drums could be played during timeouts, etc.
