The Wiz
The Bills ( D+ ) are finally playing a team weaker than themselves...LaS ( D ) Not only that but we beat them in almost every category on Offense & D....On Off, we have the upperhand in Pts/gm, ..FG%...FT% and Reb/ game. And on D, we have them beat on Pts/gm...FG%...3pt% and Reb/ gm. About the only area they outshine us is 3pt shooting on Off...and then they are only a D+ ....So it's looking good. But wait then....if we are better than them in almost every way, how can this game be even? Because we are only sliightly better than them overall and in every category. That small victory margin is wiped out by the LaS home field advantage. With that said, we should take this game. If we can just shoot decent (particularly from the 3) not great, we win....If we have another Prairie View A&M night from the arc, then we lose. Also, we need to make foul shots.....as this is shaping up as a close game we can't afford another 50% FT night. Here is what we need to do to win.... LaS Slash...............35/ 27 Price ppg............15 .........3pt%...........33 Washington reb....6 ....................FG%...under 50% Players w/10pts....2 Pts........................61 The Bills Slash..................43/33/72 Pts/half..................33 TO........................12 DZ.........................0Players w/10pts.....3 (we should have 4 against this D but only need 3 to win) Bottomline.....LaS isn't a very good team. If we take care of biz, we win...But remember, they are thinking the same thing. Tick ....tick....tick...3...2...

slufan13
I've watched La Salle a handful of times this season and they are downright horrible. Losing to them could be our worst lost of the entire season. We beat Mason on the road so the road game doesn't scare me too much. I see a comfortable win. Box and Won
I actually like the Seth Greenberg coaching idea. Really? His teams have a total of three NCAA tournament appearances, and two of those were when he was at Long Beach State back in the early 90s. DeSmetBilliken
I actually like the Seth Greenberg coaching idea. Back when we were in C-USA with his USF teams, he repeatedly had teams that were predicted at the top of the league in preseason, but ended up as a middle of the pack team in the conference. I was surprised when he got hired away by Virginia Tech. Hard pass.
Bay Area Billiken
Per that link, they are still talking about SLU going back to the Valley back there. Sometimes I think we are living in some type of alternative universe. SLU has made errors in its basketball program. Leaving and remaining out of the Valley are not among them. MusicCityBilliken
Seth had a lot of NIT teams at VT. Never could break into the upper-echelon of the ACC. BTW, no one has since since. One thing about Seth, He is entertaining. Back in the late 90's I was visiting my parents who lived in the Sarasota area. One evening I ventured across the bay and caught the Marquette-USF game. He actually came out after the game and thanked the students and cracked a lot of jokes. My guess is he would want a lot of $ to pull him away from his gig with ESPN and for that kind of $ we can do better.
The Wiz
LaSalle is the 1 point favorite...would you bet on this game in SLU's favor? Soderball
If you take the Bills and a point...chances of winning are 52%...you probably can do better than that. hsmith19
If we lose tonight I am fully on board with moving to the Ohio Valley. Let's do it. The OVC only lets the top eight teams into their tournament, so it would be one less loss on the season.
