MB73
Yes, I moved out here long ago, raised my kids in foo foo land. They were taught in grade school mostly to worry about saving the rain forest, that was the most important thing. WTF was that? Ward Cleaver would be one of the toughest guys in Chesterfield. I, myself, am from the city, a PHL boy. I'm looking at our schedule again and am now thinking 18-12, up from 17-13, it's a very weak schedule. Crews is solid. He should find a good rotation out of the talent we have, though so much is unknown.

This year will have several bumps but hopefully we start to play good ball come February and March.

Billikenboy
Schedule is similar to last year's. Quality opponents with some good test for a young team.

hsmith19
"Buster" as in the guy in "Arrested Development". That hsmith19 guy called me "Smokey", has taken numerous shots at Chesterfield for no reason whatsoever on this board. "Smokey" is a reference to a classic film featuring a character given to making wildly pompous statements about "the rules" that I'm pretty sure was based on your message board persona. If you are not familiar with The Big Lebowski, you should check it out. A much better midnight cult film than The Princess Bride. Your foo-foo-ness (and that of Chesterfield), however, speak for themselves...

thetorch
Torch this list is interesting. Would you care to explain why Clayton, Ladue, Krikwood, and Webster Groves are not included in the foo foo municipalities list? Clayton has a very small population, while that population is mostly foo foo, I have to hand it to them for living fairly close to the dangerous city when they could be living in Kansas, errr I mean Chesterfield. That and I regularly do business in Clayton and enjoy their restaurants. Kirkwood and Webster are pretty segregated, they both have their rough areas. Plus their HS football teams can beat up on North County teams, not like foo foo Parkway or Rockwood teams. Ladue, Stan the Man resided there, so he makes the whole town super hard ass for 10 years after his death. Still have some time to go. thetorch
Summary of your list: predominantly white, non-hoosier municipalities. My criteria was based on neither of those components.
brianstl
Places like Ladue and the neighborhoods in Clayton have some charm and class to them. Chesterfield doesn't. It is like the hillbilly that won the lottery. It has some money, but not much else going for it.
Dwayne's_World
Also, how exactly does one define "foo foo"? MB, would you be able to elaborate?
