Franchise_08
As of 2pm today they have the Bills a #10 seed in the Atlanta region vs. #7 Illinois. Illinois is now 5-7 in the Big 10 so I was wondering how they can be a #7 seed when they should not even be in the tournament? Baylor would be a nightmare matchup for the Bills in the second round with their length and athleticism. A little early to be worried about seedings and matchups but it is still fun. http://www.thehoopsreport.com/bracket.aspx

KM MM JJ DE and BC, no problem.
Franchise_08
UMC and SLU are 2 different teams that run completely different tempos. Baylor IS overated but still a very good team.

WVBilliken
A 10 seed is ridiculous. With our RPI we should be the lower seed, not Illinois. Once again the BCS prejudice rears its ugly head. But that would not be a bad opponent. I thnk we would take down the Illini.

JMM28
Illinois and UConn are bubble teams, not single digit seeds. I would love to get Illinois in the tourney. We would destroy them. But it looks like they might be on the outside looking in.

JettFlight5
Bills would be a double-digit favorite against Illinois.

billikenfan05
I was gifted ESPN The Mag, which comes with Insider for free and they have us as an 11 playing LVille.
David King
This particular bracket is based on results to-date. It may have some accuracy as to predicting who will be in the NCAA tournament, but it doesn't have any accuracy when it comes to predicting the seedings, because every team still has 5-8 games left to play. Looking to the future, I predict the Bills get somewhere between a 4 to 7 seed.

cheeseman
At 5-7 in the Big 10, there is a greater possibility of IL not getting in then getting in - of course they could win out and that changes the whole thing. Clearly this guy has a huge BCS bias.

slu72
Does anyone really want the dreaded 5 seed? That position should be relabeled as UPSET SPECIAL. There always seems to be 2 12's that win in those 4 games. Don't want it, it's jinxed.

I'll just be happy with 2 more wins this week.
kwyjibo
http://www.thehoopsr...om/bracket.aspx The Bracket Matrix ranks bracketologists (there are over 80). Of the bracketologists with 3 or more years experience The Hoops Report is the worst (technically, RPIforecast is the worst but he used a fixed Dance Card formula and really was not trying to do real bracketology--and is no longer doing that). If you looked at any other blogger or asked my three year old you could get better insight (she likes red). http://bracketprojec...m/rankings.html What is more interesting about ranking the bracketolgists is how the more well known people and those touting themselves as "insiders" are pretty average (Lunardi is slightly below average but CBS, SI, Fox, Rivals people are only a little above average). Gary Parish does the best of the "major" sites. The best bracketologists have SLU at about 8 right now. That will get better with more wins. Best bracketologist last year: http://68and16sportscast.tumblr.com/ (SLU is 9 seed) Best over 3 years: http://bracketville....m/bracketology/ (SLU is 8 seed) Best over 6 years: http://bracketproject.50webs.com/ (on vacation but had SLU at 9 before road wins) If you have to worry the best bracket to have SLU at 10 is the Beer Bracket but she has been downplaying SLU for a while (I have no idea why): http://beer.blogs.cb...s/view/13129553

Scoop
Just keep winning to get to that 6 or 7 seed. I think we could knock off a 2 or 3 in the second round. I'd rather be a 10 or 11 than in that 8/9 game. Wouldn't even mind a little rematch with a 2 seed Duke in the second round. I'll believe our boys might have a little payback. All that said, Let's just get in 1st. Man, this is fun.
Cowboy
-remember these bracketology folks are projecting as of today or whenever they do them, there is still a chance for us to increase our profile
showthebill
The best possible position for SLU is to get an 11 seed. If I could choose no matter if we win out or not I would take an 11 seed in any region.

With some luck, you can go sweet 16 by beating a twelve, then a thirteen. If you do have to beat a four, the difference between a four and five may not be too far.
